[Guide]How to protect your tank/account from getting hacked

Hi guys 

 

Today i am wanting to steal the limelight and put attention to the fact , that your tanki online account IS vulnerable.

You may have heard of a way of hacking of accounts ,by stealing cookies(Not those gingerbread ones! Those encoded ones which are digitally stored on your device).  This exploit CAN be used to hack your account . All so much in writing . 

I am being a stupid geek . Here starts the practical 

 

 

1) I start up (removed) on my pc . everything ok . just dont bug me what its name is .After that i start up TO

2) I ask some friends on whatsapp to come to my place . we are gonna celebrate my rank up then i am gonna treat everyone to a pro battle pass . k . 

 

3) I give everyone the wifi password and we soon plan to start off in Arena TDM. 

 

4)Everyone logs in , and to my delight (removed) captures more than 5 cookies . 

 

5) The game ends after 2 hours, everyone (at my expense) gets a pro battle pass as a gift 

 

6) As everyone goes, i launch up (removed) in cookie attacher mode and it loads those saved sessions .

 

I can get EVERYONE's account . This can be in use against you right now !! 

 

 

How to protect against it-

( Newer methods will soon be put up here)

 

1) NEVER connect to public wifi's,especially those 'free' ones.

 

2) Use a VPN , as it encrypts your traffic (Google it, there are many free ones). VPNs actually encrypt your traffic , because it is being routed by their own servers.

 

3)Secure your wifi 

Turn off the WPS option as it is very easy to crack 

And upgrade to wpa_2 security .

If your wifi does not have an option to change to wpa_2 , then consider buying a new router,not just for tanki but for all your other accounts and even files on your PC

 

If your account ever gets hacked, email tanki support . They are very resourceful and helpful. Just provide them all the details.

Just as a precaution , attach your email to your account
