Parkour at lower ranks:

 Share

Recommended Posts

Parkour at lower ranks is usually seen as impossible..

Yes, certain tricks are not achievable with out M2/M3 Hulls, however, some tricks are still achievable with another helper tank.

Also, on the test server (http://test.tankionline.com) you can try M2's and M3's, also you can purchase lots of supplies like mines and speed boost, i have tried this out.

:)

I don't know whether to start a lower rank parkour club (From Warrant 1 to Third Lieutenant) and go from there.

There might already be them so contact me if you think this is a good idea through badges with messages or on Skype

Skype: Rumanaitor (self explanatory)

*cough* cough* Excuse me? Parkour with m0 and m1 can also be done. I used to parkour with m1 rail and wasp, and the more important thing is not the equipment's level, but the timing. Timing is the MOST crucial part of parkour.

I think that parkour at lower rank is pretty hard. As you can see in all the MOP, it is all the high ranks who won. The lower ranks have a lower turret/hull modification so they don't have the speed, armor and impact force to do tricks that m3 can.

It is true, but no matter what, a club with m0/m1 can do m3 and m4 tricks if their timing is perfect (and they don't have lag).

Parkour is for fun, but does not improve your battle skills.

Actually, it does! :P

I named my parkour team "Fight & Flight" for a reason - we started as a group of players that besides doing normal parkour for fun, were also using parkour to gain advantage in battles. We were jumping over walls, surprizing our enemies from above, flying over our enemies with their flag, and getting good positions on high places that aren't reachable without parkour (before kill zones were added to the roofs because of cheaters...)

But to really gain advantage from parkour in battles, you need to know how to do parkour with heavy hulls or how to strategically use parkour to gain so much advantage you'll win even with a team of easy-to-kill light hulls. So as long as you're not really good at this stuff, you won't really do better than without parkour. It's a whole different system of skills and strategies, with different roles in the team and with strategic spots that allow you dodging the enemy shots (there are 2 of these in the video below) and we even made maps marking all the strategic spots for shortcuts, positions, dodge spots, etc.

I don't have most of the stuff recorded, but I do have a video that can give you an idea of what Parkour Fighting is like, with mostly very very old footage :)

Nope, as you see some awesome tricks in videos requires 4/ 5 mines, you can't survive that as a m1
