Calculating Discount + Discount

Ok, I feel really stupid, but I just cannot remember how to calculate the price when you have multiple discounts on an item.  With the 50% + 30% discount, how much would an item that costs 200k originally cost now?

I think you can calculate the discount this way:

Discount in % = 50 % + (50% * 30%) = 65 %

Price = 1 - 65 % = 35 %

Item with 200k price = 200k * 35 % = 70k

Ok, I too have a question.

I had a 10% off discount on wasp m2, makings the cost 92250, but then today got a PD of 37%, so now costs 64701, how uch tomorrow given that its 40% sales?

What you can do is divide the normal price by ten, then take that and time it by six

I think you can calculate the discount this way:

Discount in % = 50 % + (50% * 30%) = 65 %

That formula doesn't work, since here it matters which discount you apply first, while in reality it does not.

This formula will work: Price - ((price * discount 1) * discount 2) = discounted price.

If you want to ask any other questions regarding the discount percentages, please use the Q&A topic on the forum instead.
