Increase Isida healing points

I think the selfheal of Isida should be buffed in this way, that it works against the heating when attacked by a fire or it works against the freezing when attacked by a freeze as long as you are selfhealing yourself by attacking an enemy. So link the selfheal to the temperature decrease/increase of the own tank.

I have Isida M2. The self-healing isn't all that great. For it to be more beneficial, the self-healing would have to be nearly equal to the damage taken. Self-healing used to be much better, but it got nerfed.

Why not just bring back the 2011 Isida? XP given for healing, depends on the rank of the tank that the Isida heals. The higher the rank the more XP given. :lol:

Isidas already get xp. It's a very good turret if you want to rank faster. I'm talking about giving more crystals for healing. As OP said, this might encourage more Isidas to heal, as they were meant to do. As it stands now, you get lots of xp for healing, but very little crystals. This is why some Isidas won't top off a health bar. I ran into that yesterday. I had a little over a half health bar. I was gong in for the flag, but wanted full health to do it. Isida saw me, in fact he had to go around me.

 

A few days ago, we had an Isida that did more killing than healing. In fact, I don't remember him healing anyone.

 

I witnessed this incident. Railgun, Isida, and Firebird (me) went to grab the flag. Railgun grabbed it, Isida behind him, I was trying to ward off an attacker. Both of us were taking heavy hits. Isida didn't try to heal either of us. Railgun died, Isida grabs the flag and then I died. Isida makes the capture. Actually, this was fair play. Nothing in the rules says Isida has to heal.

 

Later, we went back again. This time, Isida was trying to kill a Mammoth instead of healing us. In actual game play, an Isida gets more crystals for kills, capturing flags in CTF and CP in control points than it does for healing. Unless, it just heals those who are just a breath away from dying. Give the Isida a few more crystals for doing what it was intended to do.

But the amount of crystals that you get is proportional to your score, so the more xp you make, the more crystals you receive. By giving you xp for healing they are already (indirectly) giving you more crystals.

 

Now, if what you propose is that healing a tank adds to the battle fund (I don't know if it currently does), then I'm all for it.

Isida's healing was improoved; and additionally it consumes less energy as at the time you requested that change. So over all, you can now heal more and gain more xp per time unit - which comes to the core of what was asked for.

How about increasing Isida's vertical aim? if an isida on a big hull faces a turret like twins or rico, it becomes hard to target them as the hull is constantly being pushed skywards and the vertical aim margin is not enough to counter that, also it's nearly impossible to target friendly or enemy tanks if it is on ground below the isida's level

it's also hard to use it with wasp, because if I go towards an enemy, start shooting and then brake hard, my nose tips down so much, that my isida loses the enemy out of it's vertical aim angle..

There were always XP given for healing.. it was about to give more; especially for the last bits of health, that consumed energy from the Isida but gave no XP in return.

 

If you like to give more exp. points during healing, you have two options:

a: increase XP and leave healing rates & energy consumption as they are

b: enable the tanker to heal more in the same time, so that he gains more xp over all and that he has more energy left to heal those 90% healthy tanks as well.

 

So.. the core concern is solved imho.
