Battle doesn't end until the Gold box has been caught

The suggestion:

 

If an un-timed battle is nearing it's end, and a Gold box warning comes, the players can finish the battle and still be able to go for the Gold box, and after it's been caught the battle officially ends and the score screen comes.

 

Nah. Best part is when game ends 1 second before the box reaches the ground.  Golds are a side-show.

 

And... what if your team has winning score (and time expired) but then opponent team caps to tie or even win while gold is falling.  <_<

G'day,

 

I reckon/vouch that when a Gold Box is about/is dropping; battle timer stops & changes colour in it's little box... (I dunno). As well as flags and control points get "blurred" out and become un-interactive whilst Gold Box is having a time of its life in the skies. By "blur" I mean like, for instance, when a Tanker has picked up the flag, it goes sort of transparent... which could apply to the control points and flags, when they're in their "holders." The 1 of 2 "issues" I haven't fully ran over is when a Tanker already obtained a flag and a Gold decides to fall, except that Gold only falls once NO Tanker has a flag. All in all, pretty much everything pauses when a Gold Box is descending to depths of despair, crowded with tanks...  including control points generating points...practically everything that could stop a battle... 2 of 2, a DM & TDM battles, if there are kills when a Gold has been announced in the battle, the blown up tanks in their graves add/count up after the Gold has been caught.

 

I hope you guys could possibly take this into consideration.

 

PS: Bad news for trollers who capture the last flag when there's a Gold Box! Ha!

I don't think it's fair how the Gold Box has all the priority. I mean the thing that makes Gold Boxes fun is that they come randomly and there is a specific probability it will come in a battle. If someone decided to troll you, that's bad luck. You have to move on and stop whining. There are plenty of more golds you can potentially catch. If the match finishes, it finishes. Why should the timer keep going after the match has finished for a gold box? It just seems illogical. But I can see why you're frustrated. I've had the experience, but it's just life.

To avoid the possibility of trolls trying to get ahead in the last minute gold, when the game ends scores are final, no xp can be earn't but the gold get's a chance to fall. 

 

I mean the thing that makes Gold Boxes fun is that they come randomly and there is a specific probability it will come in a battle.

At lower ranks 1000 crystals is quite a bit, enough to get a new turret or hull of your choice, at these ranks if you have found the gold and no one else has and the game ends it really sucks.

 

I really support this idea and hope it gets used :) +1

No. We should be able to capture points/flags during the gold drop in-between the game, makes the game more strategic.

Bad idea. When I catch the last flag (or take the point) to finish the game, I do it on purpose. It's not trolling. Stop me if you want to continue the battle. Oh, you were chasing the gold box instead? That's not my fault.

Maybe those golds which didn't touch the ground should be re-dropped in the beginning of the next battle. Just a suggestion.

I have thought of a couple small changed that could benefit the game and the experience;

 

#1 - Gold Boxes

 

Who else finds it annoying when a Gold box drops when there is < 30 seconds left on the clock only to watch it fall and de-spawn due to the game ending, or in a TDM match that's at 95/100 kills and everyone is trying to convince the enemy teams on working together?

I suggest that if a gold box is due to drop that it be delayed until the start of the next match to make sure everyone has a chance to attempt to get it

I've removed your healthbox idea, as this was declined a couple of times already. It is a tactical element of the game, to steal the healthboxes from the enemy, even if you are at full health yourself, so this can not be done like you proposed it.

If you  like to continue the dicussion on that, pls continue it in the apropriate thread (and pls give only one idea per thread in the future, this makes the sorting easier :)))

My suggestion:

 

If this updates ever come,

Then if a battle if about to end and red team is losing against blue team by 1 flag (CTF MODE), someone might just drop a gold supply 

By time everyone gets engaged in catching a gold the dropper might cap flag to equalize or even more to make his team win

 

So in my opinions i don't really think its going to be a good update

 

 

Actually one of the gold box supply uses as suggested by tanki when it was released was to use it at the end of an even battle to try and  tip the balance in your team's favor

Why not just let gold drop the next round?

That's also a good option, also adding it to the battle fund to be shared by everyone

How about adding stoppage time (just like in football) if a gold drops and the battle ends , add a stoppage time of 30 seconds so that you don't rage up if container drops and someone capped a flag or the time finishes

I would like it for those battles when end before the gold fall in the ground

If your team already finished the battle like 7x0 ,if is falling a gold, the game extends for more 20 seconds, and after someone catch the gold, the game ends 

As long as the extension mode is active, no points of the mode will be active again, all of them will be in "paused state"
