Gift Card Question/Error

Alright, so worlds dumbest nublet here, but I may be dumb or I could just be doing it wrong. I got a card from Walmart, and bought a low package with it. ($25 dollar card, package was $3.99 leaving $21.01) I decided later on I wanted more crystals, and I wanted the crystal order or $9.99. Now, of course, there's still plenty of money on the card, this is the only purchase I've made on the card. When I get to the last point (verifying with my e-mail and getting the crystals) I get the error: Transaction error: duplicate card number. Your gift card has NOT been charged. 

 

To sum it all up: 

I've made only one purchase on the card, which was 3.99

I decided to purchase more crystals, worth 9.99

When I get to the last step, I get the error: 

Transaction error: duplicate card number. Your gift card has NOT been charged.

You might be qble to use the 21,01 on the gift card to buy another and put the exact same amount on it

Yeah, I didn't think about that. I'll do that at last resort, though. I want to make sure that there is / isn't a way to use this card again. Thanks!

try in  a few days from now and see if it works again and also some of them have to registered an  address to be able to be used , there could be a block from the card company .. check with them and also tanki

Same thing happened to me! But with a $50 walmart card and a $13.99 purchase. Its such a ripoff

i emailed tanki and they told me to email paygarden support, still waiting on a reply

if u are using the pay garden card program .. please look into it on line cause they only give u 83% of the card the balance goes towards there service fee's .. if u do not use the full amount then they keep it.. you can go on line and search more about the company and the way they operate ..

 

personally i never have used them i'm only going by what has been talked about in this chat threads and also on line info and right now it do's not looking  good how they do business

Why is PayGarden not accepting my gift card?

 

 

Q: 

The most common reasons we can't accept a gift card:

• Your gift card is actually a prepaid credit card with a VISA or Mastercard logo.
  PayGarden does not accept prepaid credit cards; only store-brand gift cards.
• Your gift card was purchased from an international retailer outside of the USA.
  At the moment, we are only able to accept gift cards from USA networks.
• You may have forgotten to enter the complete PIN number.
  Some cards require scratching off foil to reveal the PIN.
• This gift card was obtained from an online gift-card marketplace such as: cardpool.com, raise.com, plasticjungle.com, giftcardgranny.com, etc.
  PayGarden is unable to reclaim the balance on many of these cards.

Why are PayGarden prices different from credit card prices?

PayGarden prices are different from web site prices for two reasons:

1. There are gift card network fees associated with PayGarden's balance reclaiming service that result in prices that are different than credit card prices.
2. When PayGarden offers a membership offer, it is a 1-time payment rather than a recurring membership where you are charged every month. Because you do not get charged every month, the web site has to collect more money upfront.

This depends on the brand. For most brands we require at least USD $10 remaining on the gift card.
