How long does it take you to rank up?

Well, when I first began I ranked up 5 times my first day on this account. Now at the mid ranks it takes me anywhere from a week and a half to 2 weeks, maybe more if I don't play as much, which I haven't played much lately.

 

For you higher end rankers like Marshals, how long does it take to rank?

If I played as much as I did before, I would be at least a Major General. I went from WO2 to Captain in about 6 weeks when I MU'd Firebird and Viking to 50/50 and just played mindless Polygon CP non-stop. But those days are over as Firebird is nerfed and you cannot toast a group hug anymore.

 

Lately, I've been stuck with a lot of things that went wrong at work and my new place for the past 4+ months, so that took away a lot of my free time.

 

If I can get to Lt.General I'd be so happy.

That's a hard question to answer. It all depends on how long you play per day (hours), how many battles you play in those hours, types of battles

(since ranking depends on experience points), type of hull and turret with upgrades. Obviously, you can get xp just by driving around the map, setting off a few shots and getting killed. I think what you need to do is do some experimenting with which ever combo you plan to use. Try different maps, team sizes, and modes. Find which you are best at (as far as xp is concerned) and stick to it.

 

On one of my other accounts, my main turret is Isida with Hornet or Titan (depends on the type of battle and size). The Isida is good for xp, since you would mostly be healing and not so much killing.

 

Suggestion: If you are asking this as a way to rank up faster, I suggest you do this:

 

At the top of the page is your xp bar, This shows how much xp you need to rank up. Take note of that before and at the end of your battles to determine which is the best xp booster for your type of game play.

I asked to gain knowledge from other players. and I don't need advice, I rank up fairly fast enough. Took me 3 months to get here :3

Everytime I try to rank up faster, I always overplay this game, realize that I have no life, and then quit. So I've been a Lieutenant Colonel for about 2 years, but I'm finally going to do the game at a comfortable pace (because I probably should focus on high school first...). I'll probably be a Colonel in late February.

I play often, and it takes months. I hit a wall once I got to the 3 star rank. Was 4 stars at the beginning of 2015, now I'm only 2 ranks higher.

I was Major by August, and earned 12.5k xp on Tanker's Day itself to reach Lieutenant Colonel (September).

 

I then eased off and only ranked to Colonel during Halloween. I then ranked to Brigadier a week later (No lifer :P), and Major General 2 weeks after that.

 

I've been Lieutenant General since early December.

 

On my alt accounts I've been much faster. I ranked from Recruit to Warrant Officer 2 in less than 3 weeks. On @Viperstrike, I left the account after Sergeant. I came back and ranked it up to Warrant Officer 4 in 3 weeks or less.

 

Yeah, rankup speed depends on my normal life.

I've gotten to where I am in about three months...I get around 5,000 exp per day but I haven't played a much lately and it's taken me a week to get nearly 10,000 exp

I took me a year to get to Gizmo. And I bought the kits as soon as they were available then upgraded it as fast as I could. With the protections available now with 3 the max (I have several of the 4 turret legacy modules) it may take a little longer. Plus it is a lot more expensive now than when I started.
