Once upon a time, there was never any problem finding a reasonably matched battle of the right type, though some less common maps could be a problem.

 

Now, it's very hard to find battles to meet mission requirements, though maybe in part at the moment due to the takeover of Happy New Year AS, and if you don't need that one, bad luck indeed.

 

When you do find one, you often have to face those not hugely above your level, but who benefited from earlier availability of M3 equipment - I wish I'd taken that M3 Isida in a kit when I had the chance, now any M3 is a long way away.

 

To be fairer, downrate already obtained M3 to M2 until the new level requirement is reached.

 

And then face the curse of the quitters, leaving your side hopelessly unbalanced

It's a dead duck. When I joined there were 100,000 plus online every day, now it's complete ****.

Yes, it is. Just like any other online game, tanki is becoming less relevant since it's over 7 years old already. It's amazing that there are still so many active players.
