Micro upgrades don't affect weight in parkour mode

The weight of your hull in parkour mode is always the weight of your hull's modification without the micro upgrades. That's why my fully upgraded Wasp M1 is better than Wasp M2 - it's the same as M2 in all aspects except for it's M1 weight.

When nitro wears off it slows you down, even in mid air

It affects only horizontal speed, it won't slow down a fall.

No-impact turrets are not completely useless

They are not very useful, but they do have special properties that can be used in parkour. The most useful being Isida - it can heal you to help you survive more damage. Freeze can be useful to slow tanks down. Firebird is useful for killing a few tanks precisely at the desired timing without depending on their ability to be in sync with each other when self destructing.

Kills and deaths in parkour count in player profile

Self explanatory.

Shooting tanks can sometimes pull them towards you

Thunder and Smoky are the best turrets for it, try using one of them and shooting a tank when the edge of your turret is inside him.

It's possible to shoot tanks through walls

As long as the turret of a tank is sticking out through the ground (or wall) you can shoot the turret and impact the tank on the other side of the wall. It is also possible to hit tanks through the ground from below if they make a good swing.

Splash impact doesn't interact with turrets

If you try to hit a tank through a wall (as explained in the fact above) you won't be able to hit him with the splash but a direct shot will work. So if the turret is in range but the hull isn't, splash won't cause any impact.

Splash doesn't always deal damage

If you shoot a dead tank with Thunder no one will take splash damage from it.

There is a maximum speed and rotation limit

The rotation speed limit is close to 1 rotation per second. The movement speed limit is ~5 props per second (props are the "building blocks" of tanki maps).

Nitro increases not only your speed, but also your acceleration rate

Self explanatory.

It is possible to shoot ghost tanks under certain conditions

Using Hammer you can shoot a ghost tank if it's his first spawn in the battle. If you the ghost stops being a ghost, he can rejoin* the battle to make it possible to shoot him with Hammer again while he is a ghost.

*might be a better way now, gotta check it and update the topic

How to predict how a tank will move when he dies

When a tank dies he is rotated to the left on all 3 axes, and accelerates upwards a little. The key point here is that the rotation is relative to the axes themselves, so it doesn't depend on the hull's rotation.

To make it more intuitive we can break it down into 3 forces:

  1. Straight up acceleration
  2. Rotation to the left
  3. Lifting one of the tank's sides into the air with twice the force of the rotation to the left

To predict which side will be lifted up, look at the squares in the ground. Rotate your hull so one of it's sides (not corners) will point towards the corner of the square you are standing on, and the opposite side of your hull will point towards the opposite corner of the square. Then self destruct, and the side that goes up will point exactly to the direction on which the 3rd force in the list above is acting. (that is the direction that the part of the tank that points towards it will be lifted up when the tank dies.

All of these 3 forces are strong enough to use in parkour tricks, but they can't make a big jump alone.

It is possible to shoot through tanks (without impacting them)

Stick your turret through the hull so it's edge is on the other side of their hull sticking out far enough, and avoid hitting the turret.

It is possible to go through walls without dying - [ video ] - 1:38

Ghosts can't die, so keep a tank ghosted until he passes through the wall, he will get the no-damage-bug after passing through the wall, but he will stay alive.

Double damage supply increases recoil / impact force?

It only increases damage, healing rate for Isida and special effects of Firebird and Freeze.

There are no kill zones in parkour mode?

The map is like a big space inside an invisible box of kill zones. The way it works is if you go more than 1 prop away from the furthest solid object in any direction - you die. That means you can't go far sideways out of the map or too high above the highest building.

Parkour with lighter hulls is always easier?

If you use the firepower that is needed to get a Wasp m3 to the roof but your jumper is Wasp M1 - it is really easier, mostly. An exception for this is when you do a trick that requires the jumper to be really fast, in which case Wasp M3 can work better than Wasp M1. There are especially many OMP tricks that work better with a heavier but faster hull.

Many of the tricks you see with Wasp M1/M0 are not really easier. This is because they use the minimal firepower required to get them to their destination. Many of these tricks won't even work with a heavier modification of the jumper, so using a light jumper is just a good equipment choice to make these tricks possible. Some of them can work with heavier modification if you add more firepower, while others are simply impossible with a heavier jumper.

Explosion of dying tanks has splash impact?

The only reason you get pushed up a little when standing on a dying tank is that when exploding his tank moves up a little, you can test it by looking at your own tank after self destructing - you'll see it moving up a little. The explosion itself has no splash, and you can prove it by standing next to an exploding tank and see that the explosion won't push you away from him to the side. (make sure the tank itself doesn't touch you)

Dictator is higher on one side than the other?

All hulls have a perfect box shape with no exceptions. Dictator looks like it got a higher and lower side, but it's a purely visual feature.

The death bias

Sometimes players keep trying a trick and failing, until they land it successfully but with a dead jumper. They think that this time they did it good enough and if they do it exactly the same way again with the jumper healing in time to not die - they will land it again. They are usually wrong. When players die they kinda jump a little, you can just log into the game right now and self destruct and you will see it happening. This same thing happens in the air and gives the jumper more upward momentum which is sometimes enough to help you reach your destination, but doing the exact same thing without dying is actually doing something different because you are no longer using the jumper's death to gain more height. Instead of trying to do the same thing, in such cases you should think what can you change to make the trick work better.

SS... (sorry to break the chain boiz)

Where does it say that weight doesn't matter? Was this just a test or something, or is it in the wiki?

Weight doesn't matter? you talking about weight being like it wasn't micro upgraded in parkour mode? If you had a fully upgraded Wasp M1 you would notice it, and I contacted Tanki Tech Support to confirm this

He asked where is that fact written. It was a question, not a comment.

I don't think it's written anywhere

I mean it says that "the weight parameter for hulls is disabled" or something in the "Format Battles" section, but for MUs idk

oh, I guess that's talking about the weight parameter of micro upgrades, like upgrading all parameters except for weight

Another myth, Godmode_ON was the first tank to go on tanki online skyscraper and he used mammoth!

He used some sky portal hack thingy whatever. Godmode_ON is one of the developers or shared amongst Community Managers or something. Edited by cube3e

Modules only against damage without decreasing impact force?

well that's an obvious one, they only affect damage, nothing else. There are no hidden bonuses in this game.
