Tanki Online Downloadable Client Problem

So, on the Tanki Online homepage I pressed the "Download" button to download Tanki Online since the game runs faster on the client (less laggy too). It's great and fast except for 2 problems.

 

1. After I open Tanki Online (the downloadable client) about 2-3 times (before opening it, it was closed), the game doesn't load. So then, I have to go to %APPDATA% -> Tanki Online and delete the "Local Store" folder so Tanki Online loads again. This is annoying since after 2-3 times of opening Tanki Online I have to do this to make it work again. What happens if I don't is that the game will never load.

 

2. In battle when I want to change equipment without leaving the battle, I go to garage switch equipment and come back. And, as you know you have to self-destruct. But if I die before the 5 seconds (jumping off, getting killed, etc), then instead of the equipment changing, Tanki Online gives me an error and tells me to re-enter the game. By the way, this doesn't happen in the browser (I use Internet Explorer so I can use mouse controls. Tanki Online developers seemed to fix the "gray/brown screen" bug).

 

Any solutions? Thanks!

Do this:

 

1. Delete the client
2. Then delete the local store folder
3. Re-download the client

If it doesn't work, enter the game via a web browser or Stand Alone Flash Player.

Yep, Re-download the client, I had many crashing issues but after re-downloading everything is fine and all set!

The only solution I can think of for your 1st problem, is to re-download the client.

As for the 2nd problem, try changing your equipment right after you get destroyed (before your camera moves back to a spawn point), that way you won't self-destruct after changing equipment and then maybe the error won't occur.

If neither of those solutions work, you might want to check out the Standalone Flash Player, like also mentioned.

You can clear flash player's cache by clearing the shared objects: How to clear Shared Objects?

1) Delete the entire TankiOnline folder, found in %APPDATA%.

2) Uninstall the client.

3) Download the Client from the homepage, making sure that you run the latest download, not an older one.

 

Try that instead of just deleting the "Local Store" folder. It worked for me when I had difficulties with errors.
