The reason it costs so many crystals is because it is complicated to do so.

 

Tech support actually makes a new account with desired nickname, copies the stats of the old one and deletes the old one.

 

If this is implemented the crystal cost should go down.

This is actually false, they updated the system a while ago (they don't copy your account) so all of your previous violations are still on your account. I'm pretty sure the reason it is so expensive is because as there is no option to do it, you need to take time from a programmer to go into the game code and change your name.

Also, for the security of nicknames and ensuring that they are appropriate, add this option where a particular system automatically senses words which are inappropriate, which have insulting, profane, abusive, racist or sexually explicit content. Also, it'll be a lot better if this system is added while creating an account too, because it has been seen that many people create accounts with nicknames containing racist words and they just spam quoting the name in whole chat. I'm not good at explaining these things, but I hope you understood.

You are a Helper staff, you get salary for your work. Others neither work, nor do they get salary. And 100k remains too much. Especially when you can change the nickname at the wink of an eye. 

It's because in the current process, we have to find a form, fill it up and wait for minimum 5-6 hrs (as far as my experience is concerned). And for that you pay 100k. That's not great. So, if you give its remedy as an immediate - change process, then you must at least get some price deducted. At max, 70k, at the least 50k.

 

EDIT: You might say that, since the process is quick, so the charges must be high. Well, let me say too. If the process is so quick and simple, why should we pay 100k for that? In TX too, it's just 600 X Crystals, which in that game is equal to 6000 blue crystals. Well, it's true that 6000 crystals is no way logical for changing a nickname. So, according to me, 50k is a better option :)

A change nickname button would really help users change their Tanki Online nickname if they don't like it. Ask for it to be added to Tanki Online.

It is actually 1000 gold boxes :P, and yes people are willing to spend 100k for changing their nickname. If it doesn't have a certain price, people would be constantly changing.

The price 100k is set so that people think twice before changing nick. It makes sure that nickname changes remain few cuz too many nickname changes will cause chaos.

Do you really think changing 'nicknames' should cost 100,000 crystals? -equivalent to 100 gold boxes

I think there should be another method(something less 'costly') allowing an affordable price/or reaching a certain rank in order to change your name.

How about doing a mission for name change!

You to go settings, click on name change and there will be two options:

                     1.Buy Name Change.                                                                                                  2.Get mission.

 

Option 1 will cost you real money, like 20$ while

Option 2 will cost you crystals like 5000 and you will get a semi-super Mission( say 5000 kills).

 

And when you complete the mission you get a mission!

I would recommend for it to ask to confirm on email cause there are those kids that share account and random chances that someone figure out your pass. If they have your acc pass surely they don't have email pass :D

A filter can help only partially.. but actually it's the same situation if a new player creates a new, inappropriate nick and starts to play the game with it. The game managed to deal with inappropriate names up to now; they will also be able to do it in the future.

2) whereby none of the costs are returned

..then the issue will solve itself most likely.

Yeah but it's much harder to ask Tanki staff to change your nickname to something inappropriate compared to just pressing a button.

the only issue I have with the link to it would be when its send to your email it tells you you have to fill out the form again , this leads to double or even more copy's send it .. we have it now with the help section , you fill it in on the help section then go to your email and you need to do it again then its send again / and again every time you fill them in , so this need to get resolve ..

 

 yea tanki X has it and the cost to change name is cheaper then tanki , this I would like to see drop in cost cause who really changes it that much not many it took years for me to change some of mine and others less then a year .. what should be is that the name can't be changed for a certain limited time say like three months .unless there is a spelling mistake done by tanki which if player placed the name they normally just take the same name as you post .. so they have little mistakes on there end ( sure it does happen ) .. so this might help cut back on players wanting to change daily/ weekly / or after a month or so..

Your request gets a unique ticket number and in each form or mail you simply refer to that ticket number.

But the best case is anyways if they have a single way of communication, and don't swap communication channels too often. Like you start with a form (that assures you enter all the data you need) and then they switch to email, whereby they generate the subject text automatically (with the option to change it) and you are requested to answer to this mail, without changing the subject text any more. The subject text could contain the ticket number, user name and a short idea of what went wrong "01238211, BlackWasp777, Banned due to lag sprike in battles".

 

They can use the email linked to your account; if you have non assigned yet, then they ask for one.

If you forgot it or want to change it, you have to go through the change email procedure first.

 

Such a "request ticket" system would be really usefull.. also for us forum mod's, and for all other mod's to.

If you ban someone, and they try to chat, then their ticket number could be displayed to them.. and in case of further questions they could refer to this ticked ID.

your talking something else from what i'am saying..

 

 

this is what I do most of the time is .. fill out the form in help section then they send me another copy of the same form. I just filled out  just like i did in the  help section ,  then a few seconds later its sends another copy to be filled out and every time you fill out the page or copy .it keep generating another help file number to be looked into .. so when you originally only filled in one file it turns out. after you give up filling out the same form over and over again , you end up with so many file's for that same issue giving extra files that should have only been one file...

 

sending me the link to verify my email link I have no problems with that ,and would like this to be attached to the help page instead of having to repeatedly filling in the same form out over and over again...
