High performance supercharged cars

Recommended Posts

Why would anyone want a high performance, supercharged car that does 240 miles per hour and goes from 0-60 in 4 seconds,  just for highway driving and not the race track? There is not a highway in this country that allows over 80 miles per hour, and those are hard to find, although there is a toll road going from Austin, Tx to San Antonio, Tx opening up that will allow 85 miles per hour.

These cars are highly expensive. So, why buy them if you can't use them to their optimal efficiency?

Well mate, if you haven't heard the thing,  "Speed thrills, but kills"... People buy this "cars" or luxury cars on basis of their income, status, comfort and other stuff... But this doesn't mean that if you bought a  McLaren, you should speed it on highways or normal roads. People buy this luxury cars for... sorry to say but show off, frankly speaking.  And anyway, by this I got remind of Paul Walker... R.I.P

It's mostly rich/semi-rich people who like to show off

You're right about that. But it seems a shame to have such high performance cars and not be able to realize their full potential.
