Tankers!

The new Striker turret has already been in the game for a few weeks and is quickly gathering new fans... and angry enemies.

With tomorrow’s patch update, we’ll be making a few tweaks to the Striker turret:

  • Increased grace period for recovering focus on a lost target when attempting to lock-on

  • Angular velocity of rockets increased

  • Reload speed increased

Additionally, Striker’s popularity has already spawned an all-new battle format that you’ll be able to play in PRO Battles. The new Hornet/Striker format will be playable with Hornet M3, Hornet M2, Striker M3 and Striker M2.

So, log in tomorrow after 02:00 UTC and try out all the cool changes in the game. For more details about this patch update, check out the official Patch Notes thread.

I can see Striker/Hornet being more entertaining than Dictator/Railgun in any case.

Reload speed increase is good. It was too similar to Thunder's reload time.

So striker reloads faster than thunder, and does about the same damage? AND has the ability to kill medium/light hulls with one volley. Shoulda bought striker in the sales . . .

That sounds OP, I think reload speed is fast enough now. But I definitively agree for the first one, it is way to easy to escape a striker when he is trying to lock on.

And has awful aim mate. Can't hit a mammoth sometimes.

Though I have yet to try the new striker out, definitely will sometime

B) Cool B)

and one thing plz, are the striker's achievements and alterations available? ^_^

Plz, update the Downloadable Client. it needs the reassignable keys.  the refresh option and log out options does not work on the latest version of the DC.

Thank you

Maybe it's the fault of the user?  If user can't hit a mammoth maybe it's not the right turret for them.  Or they need more practice.

Reload speed will be longer, not shorter.

My question is which reload?  Individual rocket reload, volley reload, or both?

Yup my bad, i misread. First time I read ''Rocket speed increased'' and read it again and saw reload. So I thought it was a + for the weapon.

Probably both -> as they have the same numbers already.

To be honest, I expected they will adjust it the other way around: So reduced lockon time and increased reload.

Says reload speed not reload time, doesnt that mean it reloads faster?
