Changes to Striker and a cool new format

I remember the days when vulcan was first introduced to tanki. Everyone was like, "what a noob turret", "so hard to use", etc etc. Then by the time players actually start skilling it and showing others how it's done, it gets tweaked into a monster killling machine. Then everyone is crying for a nerf XD

unbelievable... They made the most USELESS and WORST format EVER!

about 99.9% or even more wanted firebird and wasp/hornet format. And you all deny this and just put a random idea in the game?!?!

Actually. I would love to see the light format from the starladder days become an official tanki format. Second most fun I've ever had in tanki.*

 

​For those unaware, Light format was a 6 vs 6 battle that allowed 5-6 railguns and 0-1 smoky per team. The railguns were allowed to use wasp,hornet,hunter, or Viking, and the smoky was only allowed wasp or hornet. Paint limitations were such that either team's total protection from railgun was not allowed to exceed 100%, (smoky protection was uncapped).

 

​If the paint algorithm would be too difficult to figure out it could simply not allow paints with more than 20% rail protect for any player.

 

​*The single best battle I ever played was for the 300 astronauts battle in the moon silence map. But sadly, that is likely impossible to repeat.

And they don't do that already with Polygon CP ? xp/bp format optional.

Polygon CP is actually a real battle. FWH is this - get to the center, spray napalm for 2.5 seconds, die, rinse and repeat. Polygon CP is a legit, all out, intense battle. As you can see here

Shaft was nerfed TOO MUCH. As if it needed a nerf in the first place. Battlefield awareness taken away, too uncontrollable.

Yes, yes it did. It needed damage increased with distance and to take longer to charge. Instead they got... slightly less visibility

Can anyone tell me what angular velocity means? Sorry I'm stupid

It's the rate at which the rocket can change its angular motion. In layman's terms, it's basically how well it can turn and track targets. Since it has been increased, the lock-on missiles now have better tracking, which will be useful at longer distances.

Here are the tweaks made to Shaft turret:

  • arcade-shot firing speed increased
  • vertical aiming angles decreased
  • recoil increased slightly
  • Zoom increased in sniper mode

The change to the vertical aiming angle is a serious nerf for my favorite turret..  The other changes do not compensate for this deficit.

 

I'm done with Tanki.  After 2 years at this game, the changes keep making the game worse and worse.  I'll have to find some other way to waste my time.

It is an interesting name for those who do absolute brain dead power leveling. I indeed wonder why the devs decided to support something rather more enjoyable. Maybe they should really introduce WF/HF format... with funds turned off permanently! Oh yeah, that will be so good, much skill, much fun, isn't it?

 

Should keep that noted up to April, he he.

I bought Centaur kit(Shaft/Hornet) few months ago and shaft gets nerfed over n over.

All my hard earned crystals are gone :(
