Make supplies drop completely random

Recommended Posts

pro option that makes boxes fall randomly over map, but with sone difference
1) they wont disappear over time like in old tanki
2) including golds, they will have like 999 drop places
3) not exactly like old tanki, but lets put 1 mark on every "block" (5m prop) that can have any supply on it, totally random, multiple supplies can collide
4) their efficiency depends on fund growing
5) they last 30 seconds instead of 40
i hope you like :)

"they wont disappear over time like in old tanki" "they last 30 seconds instead of 40"

In old tanki they vanished in about 1 minute

In old tanki supplies lasted 30 sec on boxes and 60 for 2 3 4

But unlimited amount of drops on battlefield is damn op so they should last only 30 seconds

Jump hackers will get all the supplies and gold.

But the drop points should not include skyscrapers and such, just regular playing areas.

And I would like to trow this idea:

When there is an unbalanced game and Team A is outnumbered by Team B, there should be more drops on Team A area.

simply disable drops

Competitive eSports matches in maps like Bridges, Red Alert, Kungur, etc. have drops on and top Clans always play with drops on and strategise to control these drops. Random drops = chaos.

i was thinking that 2 options should be there but i obviously forgot to write that

1. bonus boxes

2. old boxes

Either random drops of fixed drops could still be options.

This idea is to bring a whole new level of playing to Tanki Online, because after a few months of playing, you remember where every single supply drop is on each map. These drops, each team attempts to take control of, to prevent an enemy from taking the supplies, thus leaving them helpless to attacks.

What it is, is each drop zone will be replaced with a black circle, a question mark inside. A random drop symbol will appear and thirty second later, the supply box will fall from the sky.

Now, I'm not done yet. I mean, out of, say, 12 drop spots, there's a 1/4 chance any box could drop and soon, the battle field is spammed with Repair kit drops. So, my thinking is, to find out how many of each supply takes up how many of the total number of drop spots there are, to balance this out.

Say a map has 10 drop spots, with two repair kits, two double armors, double powers and four speed boost drops. This means:

20% of the drops are either a repair kit, double armor, or double damage.

40% of the drops are speed boosts.

So, in any drop spot, there's a 40% chance for a speed boost or 20% chance for any of the other three.

The reason is to eliminate drop spot control, for a specific box, to change up how the players take over the spots. Suddenly, you see a repair kit falling, no tin the center of the map, but in the speed boost spot in blue base on Noise!

What do you guys think of this?
