Hammer wont deal damage

I was just in a battle with a friend of mine on a Deck-9 CTF game and I wasn't lagging and my ping was low. The FPS and ping were both 60.

 

The problem is lately half my shots will not do any damage at all when I shoot an enemy. For instance, the Wasp M1 with Smoky M1 there I shot seven times! Only three of those seven gave a damage counter. Please fix this since it renders my gun 100% useless.

^I have the same issue with Hammer. But for me it's not as high as you mentioned, it was maybe 10% -20% of the shots. Sometimes it might be the reason that Hammer can't shoot through ghost tanks (tanks that are about to spawn), but couldn't confirm this yet by more game experience and many shots that didn't deal damage and were properly aimed had no ghost tanks involved.

It's happened to me as well with Railgun , Sometimes when I am playing I hit someone but my shot is not effective it has no damage , and sometimes I don't  do damage at all , when it's happen just refresh the page or leave the game and join back.

First shaft, now hammer? Why dont we just make every turret not do any damage sometimes?

:/ its also happened to me with Vulcan.

It's happened to me as well with Railgun , Sometimes when I am playing I hit someone but my shot is not effective it has no damage , and sometimes I don't  do damage at all , when it's happen just refresh the page or leave the game and join back.

What do you mean with not doing damage? Is it like scenario 1 or scenario 2?

1)

2)

Shoot -> damage dealt

Shoot -> No damage dealt

For #1 it would make sense to refresh the page. What I experience is #2 so I am not sure if this would help here.

It happens with vulcan every once in a while. You start firing, and it does no damage. You have to stop firing and restart to deal damage again. Its happened in a tight spot of a clan war to me before, and almost made us lose the round.

 

If its the same thing for hammer, I think the devs are aware of it. Its called "ghost bullets" or something like that. There are some topics about it- read through those and see if it is the same problem.

Lucky they bought in the update, where u can see ur damage.

Without it man, ur screwed :p

Doesn't have to be on your end to lag. It could loop through it but you never see it. You could test it further to see if it isn't doing damage, the damage counters are also sometimes not even accurate so don't go by them.

As far as I know, they are accurate. If they lag and don't show up for a second, it compensates by putting up a counter with the total damage done during the time it lagged.

Hi- hammer has bug- 1) it shots different places not to enemy. 2) it shots, no damage, no damage then active i mean sometimes it is empty :)
