This topic is for artists and newbies to share and learn techniques, methods, and other tips on how to improve in their own spheres of art.

I am sure some of you are eager to share your knowledge with the rest of us, while some might just be looking to find a new method to further improve in their own sphere of art. In this topic, experienced artists can share their knowledge. It is recommended that you know the basics of your graphic software before you go on sharing your experience, just to be sure you aren't misinforming others.

Adobe Photoshop
Corel PaintShop Pro

Vector graphics editors:

Here are some videos to get you started and inspire you a bit, these are mostly speedarts but if you look carefully and know the basic knowledge of Photoshop then you will be able to follow and understand the process of making such artworks.

For beginners:

Removing the Health Bar from your screenshot.

How to edit a selfie screenshot.

Some speedart[basic knowledge of Photoshop required]

Some more speedart.[basic knowledge of Photoshop required]

If you know of any good Photoshop or photo editing videos of Tanki online art make sure you PM me or @Goges.Enze so we can add them to the list! And of course, if one of the videos above helped you, then make sure you give it a like!

Big thanks to all of the artists who made tutorials and speedarts, without them I wouldn't be able to make this post.

I'm going to try out Illustrator.. is it free?

The Trial version is. But the full product unfortunately needs to be bought. But you can still try it out for 31 days on the trial.

CorelDraw vs Illustrator? Anyone's opinion would be helpful

I would say Illustrator, it's available for both Mac and Windows. Even though it's expensive it is the only one with the trial version. So you can try it out for free. Both programs are rather difficult too get used too, this is the main reason I chose Photoshop instead of Illustrator, but once mastered the program is very useful, especially if you want to design professional logos.

Don't try to act smart around this one.  In the previous message we removed you made it very clear what kind of business you were offering and this is not something we generally approve of.

Now this place is about getting tips using the above mentioned software, NOT ABOUT WAYS TO ACQUIRE THEM WITHOUT A GENUINE LICENSE!  Further discussion in regard to this will not be tolerated.  Keep the discussion on topic please.  Thank you.

In That picture i only Wanted to know that How to make The tank smoother like milk shake :D... Waiting for reply

I used Pentool to select piece by piece the tank and filled the paths with gradients, then I add highlights and shadows. A very difficult and long task, especially trying to keep the gradients all similar and still match the lighting in the scene.

I find it damn hard to make anything on a blank screen from using mouse specially, How would you do it?

I use a mouse too, and it might feel hard, but it's not impossible. I usually work with the background of the forum color #111111. It's not completely black so it looks nice and is easy to work with. When starting out creativity with a mouse I would suggest the pentool, because you can outline any object perfectly and edit if you made a mistake. Then you can choose to select the object using your path, or stroke the path with a brush. A very useful too, so don't let the interface of it push you away.
