Patch Update #436 - Clan system and other changes

I love rico and its my favorite turret since the very beginning, but I still prefer the old rico around 2 years ago when its reload was .4 seconds and destroyed any tank in the same amount of shots as today. I feel sorry for smoky users, even though never a big fan of play against a smoky in a normal battle, but smoky has been weakened a lot. Especially since I do a lot of LF format this will greatly affect it.
To be honest I don't see the need for tweaks every so often if they have alterations coming out.

Now with the lag, It is extremely annoying. I enter a battle and its like im playing with 2 fps and the screen constantly jumps. The only way I have found to reduce this by a little is to refresh the page which is annoying as well and I do not have the intention of going into every single battle having to refresh upon entering it.

Tanki please fix this lag, just even outside in the lobby, it lags so much not to mention chatting.

1 shot (I use wasp m1 or hornet m0 most of the time). But at least rail and shaft are made to be powerful! Smoky is not supposed to be that powerful.

My point is with your weak hull Rails and Shafts are one-shotting u without supplies.

So an M1 Smoky on supplies should 1-2 shot u. Most turrets will do that so not sure why u think smoky was OP. Most turrets are when on DD.

Is it possible to move the "clan" button near the "shop" button? Anytime I want to enter the garage, I click on the clan since the button is where the garage button was before, a.k.a near the servers button.

Wow, its like I'm playing on my old computer again. The game is jumpy enough that I got a headache after 15 seconds of playing. Its almost like the game itsself is revolting against the Smoky nerf.

Just wanted to congratulate the Tanki devs on sticking true to form and releasing yet another update that is buggy as hell.

 

Guys refreshing while in battle sorts out the lag :ph34r:

 

Oh and this tactic of constantly rebalancing and nerfing turrets you have been using lately to try and gouge more money out of players is quite frankly shameful.

We can fight mults, we can fight each other, we can fight friends, enemies, Arabian takeover clans and that one drugging vulcan isida combo defending the choke point. But we can never, ever fight Tanki itself. 

What you have done is not made us fight lag. We are not fighting our computers, nor are we fighting our internet connections. We are fighting against you. Developers, don't do this. Players, don't stand for this. Do everything legally, according to tanki rules, but whatever you do, don't let the game beat you. We must fight the lag now. We must face this new adversary. We must be strong in the midst of fear, for we shall brave this arduous night. 

To quote Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card: "I have to win this now, and for all time, or I’ll fight it every day and it will get worse and worse."

This foe may be stronger than anything we have ever accomplished, but by Thor's hammer, we shall prevail.

So, Ricosck, Ricos Suck!

 

That fact has always been true. After the big leveling-rebalance, the ricochet was only strong. Hard to believe this set of modifications doesn't bring it back to the strongest gun in the game ('cept maybe freeze, in the hands of a skilled player.)

 

Thanks, actually, Ricoscks love hearing complaints. Ricos suck so bad, one must join them, because one cannot beat them.

Whatever you did, the lag became much worse than before.  Normally I did not have much of a lag but after this update my FPS have dropped significantly and the game is becoming unplayable.  I can tell that most of the changes are tested live because there is no way any competent programmer would implement any change without testing it under a real or even simulated load. And you expect me to waste crystals on Pro Battle pass or use real money to purchase item for such crappy game?  Tanki used to be one of the best FREE games around but now it is becoming just another buggy piece of software.

Why do you keep messing with smoky?

 

It was generally considered weakest turret, but skilled smoky-players were feared. Then you made it weird. Hard to believe people kept using it, but it seemed to be the most effective gun on most maps, but many players were still worthless with it.

 

Now you nerf smoky again?

 

Maybe if you gave it back its rapid turning acceleration.

 

If you must keep screwing with the smoky, give it high turning acceleration again. Smoky used to be fun. Now it is too slow.

BTW, the game is glitchy again. This update causes many problems, especially with jerkiness. It does not play smooth. People are calling it lag, but it seems more of a glitch. It seems to just run frame rate low much of the tiem.

I woke up and this scenario is worst than the nightmare i saw yesterday..

Smoky keep getting nerfed.

I just bought smoky few weeks ago and mued it and after seeing this.

I m thinking all my efforts and crystals are going to be wasted :(

Seriously guys. Are you doing this on purpose or what? Always the same things, the same pattern. Every 2 or 3 months, there is a major event like this one (not speaking of the constant small lags and glitches we see in the game every day). One time it's a bad line of code. The other time, it's an old virus resurrecting...

 

I don't want to sound cocky at all. But do you learn from your mistakes? Or is there another purpose behind this? Like, making the players very mad, so they'll leave TO, because you devs, want to focus on TX.

 

It's just my opinion, don't tell me that I am spreading false informations...

 

This is really weird.

Nah, they are just a bunch of amateur wannabe programmers that have no idea how to write quality code.  For them testing is deploying it and then waiting for us to tell them how much they screwed up!

i have stayed away for good reason but this has to be said...

 

this update is not good for rico .. its another waste of time that the dev's have done...

 

in my books your dev's are making tanki more and more like tanki x regardless...

 

so in due time i can see ,like i have said many a times , this game is heading to be another tanki X and will be combined into one later this year..

 

. see i can see the future due to my crystal ball is working and have been doing over time ..

 

so rest in peace tanki ....one day you will be one ....TANKI X

With this update, Tanki has become a really resource-intensive game. 40% CPU usage and whopping 1 fps in battles - totally unplayable. Whatever it is you've changed, it's a disaster performance-wise. Please roll back ASAP..
