Tribute to Smoky's final hours before nerf

The critical damage has -10 damage points on all M levels. These are the Smoky reload stats changes from M0 to M4 (left to right):

Ok - pretty much what i figured. gets worse higher up - so - more noticeable.

Love how everything is freaking out over absolutely nothing. 

 

They couldn't have changed less. The critical damage has been taken down 10 hp (which is hardly anything) and the reload has been increased by less than a tenth of a second yet everyone is acting like it was some wonder weapon that has now become the most useless thing known to man.... 

The change to ROF represents a 6.7% tp sustsaimed damage per second. The drop to critical damage brings teh total nerf to 7% give or take a tenth of a percent or so.

 

This is not the end of the world but it is a significant nerf and I don't see where it's needed.  Not when I see Hammers running arounf 1- or 2-hitting medium tanks at ranges of over 50 now, thanks to the new alteration. 

 

Rico and Hammer now fight at the medium ranges Smoky was supposed to work at ... they do more damage and hit with more impact force xan hit multiple targets or shoot around corners, have better vertical arcs .... 

 

So thanks for nerfing Smoly!  And for doing NOTHI NG about lag ... still.

Hammer needs a shot speed nerf and double reload time with the m2 alt.

so i made my smoky m4 only for tanki nerf its reload to the old m3 one... "NICE" :(

That's actually quite a big deal because of Smoky's short reload time compared to other turrets. Like, a tenth of a second doesn't matter much when you talk about something like the time needed for Shaft to load a full shot, but it's a huge difference when talking about Twins', Rico's or Smoky's reload.

I just tested this in-game for the first time, and to be honest, when I started playing I thought I accidentally entered a PRO battle with no MUs, because the difference was very much noticeable. I could feel that if it wasn't for the nerf, I would have been able to get a lot of extra shots on the enemy before they got to cover and would have had more kills by the end of the battle.
