Broken Point System?

Recently, I was playing in a Bridges CP. I went 18 Destroyed, 0 Lost, and ended up with 134 (67 + 67 bonus) crystals, while the person on top of my team (who went 8 Destroyed and 8 Lost) got 220 (110 + 110) crystals.

 

Is this broken, or am I missing something?

The first player in your team will receive the highest amount of crystals, it's like that. There are no glitches or anything.

Most probably he has earned the score higher due to other factors responsible for the same, like damaging an opponent without being able to kill him, capturing a CP, or healing a teammate (in case he was an Isida)...

So at the end his score was higher with less number of kills...

Yes, you're probably correct. I almost always play with a Shaft and a Mammoth, so I hide in the bushes and snipe people, giving me a high D / L, and only very rarely do I capture points.

I made a screenshot and cropped it in Microsoft Paint to show only the final scoreboard, but when I clicked Post it said that the forum "doesn't support this type of image / file".

Reason why his score was higher is because other teamates might have killed the person he only damaged. You get X Score points even if you don't kill the other player - If You shoot Player A  - But Player B  on you team kills them - you will get some score.

So that might be the case...You can try using other techniques to get a better score next time..Good luck ;)

Like @BuriedSky said, in team games it's not all about making kills. In CP and CTF mode, the most important things are to capture points/flags and to prevent the opponent from capturing points/flags. This is why capturing and returning flags and taking back control points give you score also.
