[Declined] Remove Micro upgrades for M3 Hulls and Turrets

At my ranks, fighting legends, I find it annoying that you have to buy an m3 hull or turret and then MU it to m4 in order to it to be effective. Basically in order to make a turret effective against legend, you have buy the turret, which cost around 200k and then spend like 900k MU it, coming up to a total of 1,100,000 crystals spent on just ONE hull or turret. The main reason I am asking of this is because I have been playing on this account for around 4 years and focusing only on one combo, and yet it is still not a full m4 combo. I am planning to get another hull or turret soon and I feel kind of annoyed that, even on sales, I will have to spend over half a million crystals upgrading it to become effective. Removing MU's for hulls and turrets at the m3 level, but still keeping them at the m0, m1, and m2 level I feel would solve this problem.

 

Tanki would definitely get less money from implementing this though, so I would suggest maybe making m3s cost around 400k crystals. I feel that 400k crystals isn't too much like it is today, but it would still give the devs money. I feel that if this was implemented, it would help the free users of TO massively. Your first sentence is where you're wrong. You shouldn't be fighting Legends at your rank since Legend is a whole 3 ranks above yours. Instead you need to take time to find the battle with the right rank limit, or create one yourself. Try using the "Battle!" button too, as it supposedly puts you into a battle most suitable for your rank (though I think it's not very effective at the moment). And if you don't want to spend time looking for a battle, then I'm afraid you just have to deal with the fact that your enemies will be a lot stronger than you.

 

MUs are an integral part of the game and as much as I hate to admit this (since they definitely ruin gameplay balance in TO), they won't be removed because they bring huge amounts of profit to developers.

Lol you should have realized sooner or later that it would have been wise to at least own one m4 turret, or just half mu all your other turrets, i can easily take on legends just by doing these two things

 

Besides this is old news, most people had all m3's by 2012-2013, why should tanki remove a feature that has been bringing them revenue for the past 4 years? Seems senseless just because certain players aren't willing to go the extra mile if they can't afford to spend real money on the game

 

Gameplay among legends and gens has always been this way, of course before micro upgrades it was easy to just buy a turret and become a nuisance to your team even though you were barely experienced, i agree gameplay among higher ranks has stagnated and become more broad in general but for the first time i've seen an improvement in balance, im not sure if its because i own a certain turret or not

I do own a m4 shaft and a 44/50 m3 mammoth. What I am trying to say is that a stock m3 turret isn't effective in battles, and when you are trying to get a new turret or hull a person shouldn't have to have to upgrade it at least halfway for it to even be remotely effective.
