Why the testservers are closed? In past Vlog was clearly stated that testservers would be open to test Artillery turret. I know they required the pass partially/mainly because of Vlog contest but why don't they at least make some gameplay videos from testservers now (exept that wierd chinesse one :D).

I like the Artillery turret design a lot. It looks cool, but developers must realize that this new turret must be strong and powerful enough to easily take out an enemy M4 Mammoth with at least two shots.

 

Please understand that at M4 level all turrets and hulls must be strong. That is the reason why every Tanki Online player micro-upgrades its equipment.

I have completed and submitted my Artillery turret in the special form last week.

 

Why don't I receive my 20,000 crystals as the developers promised in last week's V-Log?

Riddler, I feel like all you want developers to do is add super-powerful items to the game :D

Why do you want that? Do you realise that the turret will be extremely overpowered compared to the rest of them and that all other players will complain that the new turret is destroying the game balance? Also, you say that it need to take out Mammoth in 2 shots, but what about medium and light hulls? It would be extremely annoying for a light hull player to just randomly get killed in one hit as they are driving along. 

 

The only way the Artillery will have such massive damage is if it will have other disadvantages, such as an extremely long reload and a complicated aiming mechanism that requires a lot of skill and practice to use effectively.

My point on a strong Artillery turret is good, but developers must create protection modules to give damage resistances for light, medium and heavy hulls.

 

I do understand that game balance has to be fairly even, but the Artillery turret must be made overpowered due to its dynamics and parameters.

 

Protection modules are a good fight back from this turret.

 

I suggest that paints should have a built-in special type of protection as well, to further protect players from such a powerful Artillery turret.

 

Please lower the prices of micro-upgrades on protection modules because they are far too expensive.

I agree with you. but I'm not a developer and I can't do anything about the prices. No point asking them to do it either - they don't really consider player ideas when it comes to prices.

OK. I do understand but prices of modules are far too expensive and they are almost impossible to buy.

 

I am not a buyer. I have never ever made a single crystals purchase since the creation of my Tanki Online account.

 

Even if I were to buy crystals, it would be a total waste of real money due to both too little crystals to buy and too much expensive micro-upgrades on modules.

Well, you can always look at the special offers Tanki sometimes puts in the shop. Some of them are really affordable and generous. Also, make sure you wait for the micro-upgrade sales throughout the year (e.g.) during holiday events, since MUing items at full price is just crazy expensive.

Yes. I know. I always look for 50% off sales during holidays and special events.

I took Gunslinger's post and changed some stats, so this is my best guess. Also I expect it to have a splash damage radius of about 18 m with a weak splash damage of around 20%.
