Crazy friggin OP

You have to take into account, that the aiming is a lot harder than normal turrets, so these stats might seem to make it OP, but the aiming mechanism makes it harder to use this power. Striker also seem to have OP stats (rather low reload for a great amount of damage), but the handling is a different story.

Can we guess how much damage will it have? How fast it turns?.........................................................

So, here is the real question. I have no m2s yet, and 70k crystals. do I wait to use them, until the artillery turret is released, and hope it is on sale? I would probably be at least one more rank higher. I do not have any long range turret. maybe I get it on an alt acct first, so I know if I like it

I disagree. I'd imagine Artillery would have at least the damage of Shaft, and similar reload time.

Artillery now must be the strongest turret in the game. Striker second strongest turret, and Shaft the third strongest turret. How about that!!!

I took Gunslinger's post and changed some stats, so this is my best guess. Also I expect it to have a splash damage radius of about 18 m with a weak splash damage of around 20%.

I expected these stats -> so a long reload and a high damage. However, after watching the today's VLOG it appears to me, that it is possible to shoot every 3-4 seconds. They said that the longer you hold down the space bar the farther the bullet will fly. In addtion to this, I could imagine, that the longer you hold the charge the stronger the shot will be, just like shaft's damage is depending on charge.

I think you underestimate how quickly it reloads.

Seems to reload about as slow as Shaft.

 

EDIT: I've looked at it again and the reload is about the same as Railgun. So . . . I'm wrong, but this is slightly disappointing for a heavy-hitting shoot over walls turret. But what do I know.

 

1000 HP for M3.

3 shots for medium hulls . . . too weak. Railgun does more damage.

Woulb be really frustrating to have a slow reload on it. I assume you will have to do a lot of trial and error shots before hitting the right spot, so having to wait for an eternity after every time you miss would be really annoying.
