I don't get the big deal about having a handful testing the new turret. Is it jealousy that runs through the veins of those who were not not chosen for the task? It's not like "everyone else has the new turret except me" - just a handful. Live testing would be the way to go in order to get an accurate reading. You guys are acting like it is permanent, that no one else will receive this turret. I thought by now many of you would already know that nothing is permanent in this game.

Well, in theory it should be super strong, but in practice it seems very weak and hard to use.  We'll see how useful the straight-shots (parallel to the ground) are at medium ranges, because that may be  the main firing preference.  Kind of like a more-powerful Thunder.

look if it was mods that's find cause there staff only .. but when its regular players who are chosen by who? and they have no clue that other players can also handle this turret .. there basing it on what ?? no prove who can or can't use it.. its more on cause they have a u-tube channel like many other players .. so yea special treatment ...

Well, seeing as how striker was released about 2 weeks after people found it in hazels profile, id say were pretty close to the release.

Why not? Unlike a bunch of other players, who create "Let's discuss ____" topics only to later boast about the fact that they "own a big topic", Riddler actually created this one with the intention of discussing the turret itself. And it already accumulated 15 pages of discussion. I don't really feel like closing and losing all that in the archive.

Especially considering that Hazel only had a prototype with a poor texture and unfinished rockets. Magnum's prototype was shown in the stream a few weeks ago, while the current version of Magnum seems at least 95% finished. If I were to take a guess, I think it will be released within a week. Heck, maybe even tomorrow!

The problem I see with giving youtubers have the turret for review is that they may not show us really how the turret is. First because they'll be thankful to Tanki for the oportunity, and second because they may want to show how good they are and edit the parts they don't like. I could be surprised with good reviews though, who knows.

 

They should do these with random users or prototype for rent. Otherwise it leads to speculations.

 

The best approach for us players, specially non buyers, to know the turret is by opening a new temporary account... right about now. I opened one yesterday to see the changes to M0s, I'll use that one. Very good changes to M0, Tanki!

I was the one who changed it (see my previous post here). The new gun is called Magnum, and since this topic has pretty much turned into a discussion of the turret, I changed it to follow the same format as all the others. If you don't want that, I can change it back and once the turret is released, we'll lock this one and create a new topic about the turret.

 

 

 

This is an unexpected glitch. I'm sure developers will fix it in the nearest future.

 

 

 

 

These YouTubers are great fans of the project and put a lot of effort into creating content about it. Thousands of players found out about the game and started playing it after seeing these videos, so developers owe them a great thanks for helping the project expand. This bonus is well deserved.

 

And as for it being unfair, I don't think that's such a terrible problem. Magnum will probably be released within a week, so I'm pretty sure you can survive a week without having a protection module, especially considering that only a handful of people have the gun, so encountering it randomly will be extremely unlikely.

Yes. This turret must be super strong because players will find it hard to properly use and aim at their targets, so they are likely to miss them. The splash damage can compensate on the missed target, so it will deal a good amount of damage.

 

Just think about this carefully.

Now that the micro upgrade steps have been reduced from 50 to 10, I have witnessed many players use M0 and M1 turrets and hulls on the battlefield.

 

Please explain to me the reason why players use M0 and M1 equipment in Legend battles?
