You don't need money for that. You can either press the battle button, which will create a new game mode if there is no active battle in the server yet. Or, you can purchase a PRO battle (with crystals, not money), to be able to create and customize your battles for a whole month.

You mean that you can't create a battle without buying a PRO pass? 5000 crystals is not money. It's just crystals. You can easily buy a PRO pass every month and earn back the cost within 1 or 2 days.

 

And of course Tanki wants money. They're a business so profits are their main focus.

You should have said that in the first place. Yah, I can open up a new battle on my favorite map, but not everyone has a PRO pass so the battle remains empty.

I experienced that on one of alternate account ,where I had no crystals and no pro pass ,all what I could do was chatting on servers and over.

 

I believe they should make it easier for low ranks to join battles and or lower the pro pass cost for them.

You could only chat? You didn't try clicking the battle button (it will create a battle if there's none there yet you know)? You didn't switch servers to see if there were any available battles on other servers?

There's a difference between no battles at all and no 'good' battles. If you need the crystals, it's always better to join the not so good battles to complete your missions than to only chat in the lobby. And like I said in my earlier post, even without a PRO pass you're more or less able to create new battles, you just have to be a little creative.
