Pause time based on length of battle

Yes it really doesn't make sense to be AFK for 5 minutes in 15 minute battle, that's a third of the battle. But what about these really long battles that last a whole hour or sometimes even longer? I think the pause time should be automatically chosen by the game according to the length of the battle.

 

If the battle is not limited on time but on kills instead, you could look at game statistics to see the average time to finish a battle compared to the amount of kills / flags / points (in CP). That way you can choose a simple formula for how long such battles usually last and then treat it like a fictional time limit for the formula of giving pause time based on battle length.

 

Also, in parkour mode the pause time should be controlled the same way so people can create parkour battles with say 10 or 15 minute AFK time and not worry too much about players being kicked for inactivity when they are actually active in the parkour and are a part of a tank structure where they don't need to move.

 

 

This feature will solve the problem of people being unable to grab a snack or go to the restroom in the middle of really long battles without getting kicked, and will solve the annoyance parkourists get from needing to constantly press P or move their tracks when they don't need to - just to not get kicked out in the middle of a trick or a discussion about a parkour trick that is being planned. It's really annoying, I already developed a habit of randomly pressing P twice even when I don't really need to...

As we know, you can pause your game for two minutes before you get kicked for inactivity. However if the player, when there's around 20 seconds left, presses pause and then pause again, it resets the time. This can lead to sabotage and multing. My solution for this is make the pause times different for different battles. For example if it its more than 1 hour, pause time will be 5 min. 15 min will be 2 minutes and etc. The way this will decrease multing is that you can pause for a maximum of 2 minutes without the time resetting. For example you can press pause and you can go to grab a coffee and the time will go down by 30 seconds. This will mean you have 1:30 left on your timer. Then say for example you go to get your phone and it takes you a minute. This will take your initial time of 1:30 down to 30 seconds instead of 2 minutes to 1 minute. This will allow players to not mult. Moreover, if you leave the game and rejoin, you will not have the full 2 minutes of pause time. It will be reduced to around 1 minute.
