What are you using? Chrome?

You need to go here: Chrome://flags And enable Hardware Aceleration via chromes settings. This of course is experimental but it makes a heck of a difference when enabled.

Can you explain why you need to change the graphics settings?

i don't understand a single thing in it....

and this is really sudden. i have been using this pc to play tanki since 6-7 months. so its impossible that my problem is due to absence of graphics card or something like that.

If you do Not Use Chrome to play, you need to go into your flash player settings  - You can do that via the control panel I think - Try updating Adobe Flash if you don't use chrome as the latest version of Flash is always shipped with chrome updates no externall installs required.

Make sure chrome is up to date if you use chrome that cna fix the disappearing act of the setting menu

Update Chrome -

Cooper, Flash is shipped with chrome, so if there is a adobe update it will be shipped in a chrome update.

If your chrome is up to date try a different browser, theclient or standalone flash.

If nothing else make sure your graphics card is working properly and all the hardware software is up to date.

I know, Chrome should update automatically. Still it's worth a try to manually try to update.
