If clans be purchasable with crystals, the price tag would be ridiculous. It is either small payment or huge crystal pile. To put in perspective, it might be either 5$ or 1 000 000 crystals. There are no easy solutions there.

It is either cheap with money or overwhelmly expensive with crystals.

 

Huh, so if $36 is cheap with money, how "overwhelmingly expensive" would it have been with a crystal payment?

So people are not at the mercy of one person.

 

So they can switch clans whenever they want. (but with a 24 hour wait)

 

So a number of people from, I don't know, maybe 5 to 25 who have an individual license, can make a clan.

u should keep in mind that this is a game, a "virtual" game. 

36$ is way too much for an online game.. almost every online game I know has payments that would not cross 10$ because there are simply limits for payments on something virtual!! 

lets say we don't need that 36$ and we have nothing better to do with it (although I don't think that's the case), honestly I would rather give it to someone in need instead of paying it to an online game "that is claimed to be free". 

and now we get to the fact that anything above 10$ for an online game would be a lot, whether we could afford that or not.

 

Also, when someone searches tanki what appears is:

I understand that tanki being a free game doesn't mean that there wont be any profits and buying, but what I know is that in "free" games payments are only for things that are extras.. just like tanki was before this clans thing..

For example: u can get crystals by battling, but u can also buy as many crystals as u want if ur not willing to battle! this makes it free for everyone but if u want extras then pay. but clans are definitely not an extra in the game!! it is tanki's job to make tanki "clan friendly", i.e: they must provide clan members with a better experience, communication and easier battling. therefore it is not an extra and clans are a right for people playing in this game! also I dont see the other option for players who would not like to buy! there must be a second option for players who don't want to buy for this is not an extra! 

 

I say this is a way to force players to buy which is quite not so nice, instead ur  pushing players away! Tanki does not feel like a game that actually cares about its players and them enjoying the game anymore.. sadly all that matters is money.  

 

and wouldn't there be any advantages for veteran clans?? Tier 1 clans should have a free licence or have their clan there (in the game) automatically...

cuz it would be sad to see clans that endured 2+ years not able to be there and have some advantages after all.

How can they be so greedy, so many people I tired of this game because of nerf after nerf and this absolutely ludicrous amount for a clan. In most games clans cost game currency. I am tired of you greedy Russian Devs

Question: If say 3 people buy gift cards for 12 bucks, can I use all 3 to partially fund the purchase of the clan? I'm not sure if the gift card shop will allow multiple card codes to be used for the same purchase.

I really need an answer on this. We have a few members who want to all pay part, but I don't quite know how to make that work out. Anyone know how to do this? I'm thinking they could buy gift cards on amazon for their exact amount, then give them to me and I pay for it from my paypal. Would that work?

Another thought struck me so I watched the VLOG again.

 

Clans are restricted to 12 "members".  We are told how a "member" is defined. Is it an account?  Or is it a player with all accounts belonging to the clan? 

 

I'll bet you it is accounts not players.  Which means this clan organization is even more useless.  The same players will have to create (pay for) a different clan for each one of their alts.

 

This is just a way to extract more money from te chumps who throw hundreds of dollahs at this simple game. Forming a clan seem useless to a player like me.  By "a player like me" I mean "someone who was not born yesterday"

apart from the high price of license, there are other faults in clan system as well. the whole clan system is based on K/D ratio, clans now started taking people with good K/D ratio, isnt it unfair for the players like me who used to play noise ctf a lot coz if u attack in noice cft u get killed A LOT and that shiits over the overall K/D. also the melee players of polygon cp will also face this problem. if the new clan system is going to be based on just K/D then players will stop playing in the maps they used to play a alot also a player wont help other players in daily missions.

That license, with 12 members only, is worth ONLY 5$-10$. You MUST recondiser this update..You will not have more than 15-20 clans in total. And I have a question, what about the old forum clans? Can they still have clans or will these be closed too? Better not be closed, I'm not wasting 36$ on a license. It can be worth like 50k crystals. Just add Pro Battle Pass Regular Price which was 5k + clan v randoms battles maybe 15k + clan chat which is worth like 3k only since you forgot that skype, teamspeak, and discords are available + no mults thats 20k tbh :3 + 43k + easier clan wars to disallow randoms that are requested by teams to help them its just 5k to 7k. Better make it around 45k-50k crystals. That's what I think is worth it.

Lets say you purchase license.  Now there are 3 of your clan members in a map ready to battle and the other clan has 6 of their players ready.  If no more members show up for the clan with 3 players do you  still play 3 against 6 or can members from another clan play on the side with only 3 players, or can players that are not in a clan play or can the players that play for the clan with only 3 players  be from different clans?
