u should keep in mind that this is a game, a "virtual" game. 

36$ is way too much for an online game.. almost every online game I know has payments that would not cross 10$ because there are simply limits for payments on something virtual!! 

lets say we don't need that 36$ and we have nothing better to do with it (although I don't think that's the case), honestly I would rather give it to someone in need instead of paying it to an online game "that is claimed to be free". 

and now we get to the fact that anything above 10$ for an online game would be a lot, whether we could afford that or not.

 

Also, when someone searches tanki what appears is:

I understand that tanki being a free game doesn't mean that there wont be any profits and buying, but what I know is that in "free" games payments are only for things that are extras.. just like tanki was before this clans thing..

For example: u can get crystals by battling, but u can also buy as many crystals as u want if ur not willing to battle! this makes it free for everyone but if u want extras then pay. but clans are definitely not an extra in the game!! it is tanki's job to make tanki "clan friendly", i.e: they must provide clan members with a better experience, communication and easier battling. therefore it is not an extra and clans are a right for people playing in this game! also I dont see the other option for players who would not like to buy! there must be a second option for players who don't want to buy for this is not an extra! 

 

I say this is a way to force players to buy which is quite not so nice, instead ur  pushing players away! Tanki does not feel like a game that actually cares about its players and them enjoying the game anymore.. sadly all that matters is money.  

 

and wouldn't there be any advantages for veteran clans?? Tier 1 clans should have a free licence or have their clan there (in the game) automatically...

cuz it would be sad to see clans that endured 2+ years not able to be there and have some advantages after all.

Question: If say 3 people buy gift cards for 12 bucks, can I use all 3 to partially fund the purchase of the clan? I'm not sure if the gift card shop will allow multiple card codes to be used for the same purchase.

That's not possible, you can only use one card for one purchase.

Nothing will happen. Forum clans are not connected to in-game clans. However, forum clans do have the privilege of claiming their clan name to create an in-game clan under certain circumstances, about which you can read more here.

 

 

Lets say you purchase license.  Now there are 3 of your clan members in a map ready to battle and the other clan has 6 of their players ready.  If no more members show up for the clan with 3 players do you  still play 3 against 6 or can members from another clan play on the side with only 3 players, or can players that are not in a clan play or can the players that play for the clan with only 3 players  be from different clans?

 

Players from other clans can not join, and players that are not part of a clan cannot join clan battles either. Cedric described how these clan battles work:

I really need an answer on this. We have a few members who want to all pay part, but I don't quite know how to make that work out. Anyone know how to do this? OK you wont money for a clan license ? And you are not able to fix RU1 server. I have not played on it for three days, because I need 1000 years to load, and and when finally loaded, I can not play battle because I can not move my Tank, becuse it was not properly loaded.

The developers already know it is expensive and they might change the price, remember, this is the second day of the clan license, they are still testing it.

i remember when i spend £200 on this game it was sale the i broughed soo much M2's then they remover all my of my m2's from my garage that was amazing day.

i reported it WITH VIDEO PROOF of my garage..

Its really nice to see how mods are ignoring negative posts as they dont have any answer  :) . And in 10 pages only 1 page is positive. It means

that out of 100% only 10% are fool enough to buy that clan license. So only 10% of your players would be left tanki  ;) . Good Luck with that :D

The fact that only 12 people can join a clan makes the clan system useless. What if all 12 members are not available at the same time? TO devs need to keep that in mind too and increase the number of players that can join one. Also the only factor that the Clans are based on is K/D ratio. Come on,what of players who play on maps like Noise CTF or Polygon CTF for instance, don't you think it puts them at a disadvantage? To be frank, they shouldn't have rolled this update out without thinking about all these issues :/
