Why is there still no Turkish flag? When will he come? Why is nobody interested?

There's no reason to type in big font and colors. And have patience please, the flag will get there eventually, but right now devs have more important stuff to do and you yelling at them won't make them work any faster.

Why is there still no Turkish flag?

Maybe Tank could createa a feature to change the flag later on.

So you can start as some other country (Greece is close by..< warning, ironic content ;) ) and swap the flag later on :)

Thank you for confirmin my assumption the "12 member" limit means "12 accounts" not "12 people".

So I habve 3 accounts. Tha means I'd have to start 3 clans. "That will $108 please." ROFL! As if! "The clan system will only vost a few dollars." Riiiiiight.

What a scam. What a rip-off.

I am also going to point out this Cln susytem is Tanki supposed response to mults and sabotage. Well now yo have your answer of what Tanki thinks of sabotage and cheaters. And what they think of cheaters is, no problem. If you want protection from cheaters, that is gonna cost ya.

Some people say protection from cheaters is a basic service that shoulc not have a cost. Tanki sees it as a shakedown opportunity.

Never again a dime ot these people from me.

Or you can look for other license owners in your situation and ask them to add your alts to their clans and you'll add their alts to your clan.

Just an idea. :)

lol, I appreciate your pragmatism in this issue, but I don't expect that a Turk wants to be identified with a Greece flag, especially not in the community matter of a clan. Sorry for talking about politics tho...

ITEM 1:

Lag has grown notably worse this weekend and worse still today. It used to be I'd have rotten performance when I joined a game but after a minute or two it'd be OK. Now the laggy performance lasts ... pretty much the whole game. Even driving in a straight line is choppy and unstable.

I find myself wondering if this marvelous and affordable Clan system with it's new overhead is behind this further loss of quality service.

ITEM 2:

BlackWasp posted on how Clan membership is apt to have a lot of turnover. That got me thinking. I think I've sussed out how this Clan system will end up.

I think it is safe we generally assume a Clan will be a collection of friends that stick together over the long haul. Nope. This sort of Clan will exist but it will be an extreme minority. Because why? Because in a 24-hour game it is almost impossible getting 12 players to schedule their play time for a clan battle - not when some people live in the USA other Russia and others Sri Lanka, Matla and Moldavia.

So a Clan owner will simply round up temporary clan members for a clan battle then boot them out afterwards.

Let's say you are a Clan owner and you see a 2nd clan has set up a clan battle. You go to chat, round up a bunch of people, add them to your clan, and go off to battle. When the competition is done the Clan Owner boots everyone out of the Clan.

So if you really want to play Clan battles assume you will have to buy your own license. It's that or hand arund chat hoping for an Onwer to come along.

And of course this Clan system is what Tanki tells us is how to fight off cheaters and mults. So there's Tanki's policy - You're gonna be victims unless you pay up the $36.

And a side-effect to THAT is what another player suggested ;;; that Clan Owners will start demanding their members pay them to be allowed to join.

I'm pretty disgusted at that.

Thanks for the very friendly answer :)

So a Clan owner will simply round up temporary clan members for a clan battle then boot them out afterwards.

If I assume that 60..70% of a clans players show up to trainings (others have urgent exams, parents that call em out that day, obligations, .. whatever), then you need at least 20 members in a clan to play 6vs6 trainings on a regular base, in order to be an active clan and to make your players happy.

So I think you will be right on your assumption, that the members will be called in and booted as needed.. not for the training, but for the irregular "clan vs clan" battles in the eavening (see who is online, get them in the team, find a clan battle).

--

Tanki talked about the option to add more players - and the chances that this can only be done by means of a secondary (premium) currency in the game. Maybe like the gold in WorldOfTanks or the Gems in Clash-Of-whatever.

I assume you get it rarely for free (by playing a lot of clan battles) or of course you can use the shortcut of buying yourself into it.

At least, it is just a matter of convinience for the leader.

edit: but it renders the clan chat irrelevant, if you can not reach all your mates (and mate-inas :P)

I would be pretty anoyed if I have to arrange the team 2x each eavening -.-

But of course there are multiple kinds of ways to motivate someone to pay money: make them so happy that they are gratefull, or anoy them so hard that they pay for the relieve. I wonder what they go for.

Yes, 12 accounts (not people) per clan is nowhere near the critical mass needed to sustain a team in the long run.

If this notion of "hire 'em and fire 'em" clan membership becomes the norm that will remove the usefulness of clan chat. Didn't thnk about that. And in extending that thought ... all these notions of expanding a clan and special currency [cough] rubles! [cough] are also obsolete. Why expand a clan when you are just 'renting' your memberships?

Tanki had high hopes for the cash grab clan system. Get a license fee then milk the rubes for rubles to grow their clanst. But they've made the barrier to entry too high to make these secondary sales. These Tanki people are just out out of their competency. They do not understand their own systems.

As for Tanki's chose marketing method that's obvious: Annoy the customer to the breaking point so they gratefully open their wallets to obtain releif. Maybe that's how marketing works in Russia but that approach fails in te USA.

Great system, great ranking idea, great private battle format, but... (you know what I'm gonna say, don't you?)

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! Clan licence is not worth 26 euros/36 dollars: it's way too much and you will get very few clans with that price tag! My price recommendations: Somewhere between 5 and 15 euros seems reasonable to me.

What's "great" about any of that?

Switch garage and battle icons spots with the clan icon

I'd prefer the clan icon be right next to the shop icon.

Why tanki not make the price cheaper?

Its not like tanki have limited stock, its only data. tanki have 999999999999... infinity

.

If the reason is tanki cant difference between russian player and international player one, just make a new english tanki server, a server without russian player and price, make it cheaper and you get small profit, a ton of small profit. like china and brazil.

(ah need to check brazil price)

I cant understand why they cant make it cheaper, its only data.

If being russian still a wall, just leave russia. make it big, go international, carry your russian flag to europe/near server/other (like arab :P)

But yeah, not everyone have big passion, like risk minder

Yeah big money count, luck etc. but tanki had a 7th? year... Make me doubt if tanki can do that.

Ah but then again, maybe the problem is lies in somewhere else. like marketing/game confident, bankrupt plan, kids are infinity, etc etc.

Hope tanki look this post at "other way" point of view

How careless are tanki developers they put the price on a expensive level either yet we can't make a clan logo that shows on tag , or voice channel see how this thing is useless if u would add logos n voice channel that would make sense it's expensive but only clan tag maximum 12 players even tho if you want to increase the number of players you need to pay extra for Russians 17$ This is racist

You can expect clans to increase a lot in functionality in the coming months. There's a lot we want to implement. If you're not happy with the value for money, you can hold off on buying a license for now. It's perfectly fine. Nobody will hold it against you.

And if this is reall, than it is really rude from developers. Pay 26 Euros for no clan tag, no in-game voice chat, for 12 spots for a new members. If you want more, pay like 13 Euros more. That is really rude.

This waiting time is intentional, once you leave a clan, you cannot join a clan for 24 hours. You can find all the information about it on the Tanki Wiki.

Wiki is wrong. It says a clan can hold 12 players. That is wrong. It can hold 12 accounts. One player can have several accounts.
