How customizable controls can save you $$$

Have you had problems where you can't seen to use more than 2 keys at once? Like the arrows and spacebar? You can't drive and in a direction and shoot....it just doesn't work...for me at least. So, I used the new customizable controls! I moved the zxc controls to asd and spacebar to c instead. x and v incase you miss and don't have to worry about trying to hit that small key. I moved up to L semi colon, down to period, left to comma and right to forward slash. L and semi colon since the L isnt right on top of the period. This again is in case you miss the key.

 

This way you can do mostly everything! Drive forward/backward and to the left/right, turn your turret left or right and shoot all at the SAME time! Yeah it'll take a little getting used to, but it'll be better than spending money on a keyboard that allows more key presses at once!

 

Before, xp/bp was rather hard because of the fact I had to stop driving to turn my turret and shoot, but now I can drive, turn my tank and turret AND shoot!

Same, I bought this "gaming laptop" a year ago and it turned out to have terrible key ghosting where I often couldn't press more than 2 keys at once. And the arrow keys are shaped really weird so I can't even use them properly. I had to get a separate keyboard to play Tanki, which was really inconvenient. But now I changed my tank controls from arrow keys to the number pad (1,2,3 and 5) and it works perfectly!

Yeah, same, but now i press 'enter' by mistake sometimes and I'm used to enter being up left from my arrows so when i try to press enter i end up pressing delete and self destruct.. playing xp/bp is much easier now tho, so it'll just take time to get used to :P

There are too many players using this solution I guess. It's really logic due to the Keyboard Ghosting is based on a key(s). So, by changing it, the problem should be solved.

I just changed my arrows to Y, G, H, J.

I have two keyboards.

One has problem that if i wanna turn my hull left and my turret too, hull don't turn. Another keyboard, what i use is much better. I can do everything.

I am having the same issue ! 

 

I can not move my turret to the left side while driving forward and shooting... 

 

It's really annoying. So, I have moved the key Z to X, and X to C. And C to G.

I'm still using my own pc's keyboard which bought around 5-6 years ago and it works somehow fine,but why somehow? Because it has key ghosting problem,not mre than 4 keys at the same time ,it's nearly terrible for me in xp -_- because it limits my movements.
