Ideas for Clan System!

Developers announced ( 1:16) the possibility of expanding clan space upon introducing the 'clan currency', but that was a long time ago and it's uncertain when (or if) this will be done at all. Possibly after HTML5 is finished.

Im not a coder but it seems pretty simple. Do it and then boom...clans mean something. Theyre losing players, not as quickly as ppl say, but its happening...community keeps ppl

This. We were promised "Oh we will improve it later". Two years later we still have the same pointless system at launch.

 

Perhaps Tankicoins could be earned in clan vs clan battles?

I've got a great discord group, I just wish there was more competition between tankers in game. Not good enough for esports lel.

1) This will become irrelevant due to free pro pass in HTML5. 

2) Fair point, but it would be nice if clans could be more functional than giving you a private chatroom and a tag for thirty dollars.

If you have any suggestions for benefits being in a Clan could provide you, that wouldn't be overly powerful, or ruin the economy of the game, please submit your own Ideas & Suggestions topic. I am eager to hear some good options, and I also agree that there should be a new benefit added to replace the free PRO Pass, as that is already provided in HTML5, as you said.

I would suggest that people who you invited to the battle, those who will not join would get note that they were missed at the battle/private chat. So they would get an information later of it when they are back. Invitation amount? 3? What is the proper amount i cannot say. Good Luck!

FYI: I haven't read anyone's suggestions, so if it seems like I stole your idea, I'm sorry.

 

These are improvements I would want to the clan system:

  • Allow players in the clan to request and donate supplies to one another.
    • And maybe give a crystal reward to players who donate, like 10 crystals per supply
  • increase the maximum amount of players to 20.
    • Although not everyone may be able to participate in a clan battle, most of the time, only a few players are online at the same time anyway.
  • Allow members to receive a crystal reward each day depending on their clan position (Must participate in at least one MM battle during the 24-hour time period from server restarts).
    • Supreme Commander; 1000 crystals
    • Commander; 725 crystals
    • Officer; 550 crystals
    • Sargent; 400 crystals
    • Veteran; 275 crystals
    • Private; 175 crystals
    • Novice; 100 crystals
  • Allow members to receive a weekly tankcoin reward (must participate in at least 10 MM battles during that week).
    • Supreme Commander; 50 tankcoins
    • Commander; 35 tankcoins
    • Officer; 25 tankcoins
    • Sargent; 20 tankcoins
    • Veteran; 15 tankcoins
    • Private; 10 tankcoins
    • Novice; 5 tankcoins
  • Allow players who are in clans to receive one extra star whenever they finish a MM battle.
  • Allow clan leaders (Supreme Commanders, Commander, and Officers) to buy crystals, tankcoins, or supplies for their clan members.

So i have an Idea,

How about we have clan challenges. In clan challenges there may be 20 tiers, each tier containing some gifts. To complete each tier a person has to finish specific clan challenges.

These challenges may include play with clan mates etc.. Also to play in specific maps. After completing the clan challenges the player can recieve clan tokens that can be used to redeem containers, paints and supplies.The players can also receive bonus gifts if s/he manages to finish all the challenges.

Clan challenges will be conducted every 2 months and can lasy upto 1 month.

I think this could be a very useful feature, and would both excite players, as well as add another purpose to clans. As it stands, the clan system provides only a select few features, but if there was some sort of activity (such as your idea) that was exclusive to players that are a part of clans, there would be a higher player-interest in the clan system. It would also be entertaining for players, as they get to collaborate with their friends, while also getting rewards for it. I think the rewards should also consist of something that has the capability of being shared amongst clan mates/used when playing with clan mates, such Gold Boxes and other supplies.

 

I do think there should be limitations on this idea, however. For example, If the rewards are too high, it would be too much of a benefit for those in clans, and it would have the possibility of hurting the game's economy (If players received everything they needed to progress through the game from both normal Challenges and Clan Challenges, they wouldn't need to buy anything for real money). If the rewards are too high, it would also be unfair to those that aren't a part of a clan, so rewards should also be fair in this manner.

 

All in all, I think this a great idea, with many benefits, and I also hope this can be added to the game. Your idea will be forwarded to the Developers.

Thanks Mr.Nibbles. I really appreciate your help. The rewards may not be so huge. It could contain 2500 crystals or even 3 containers and supplies for the lower tiers. The final price could be a Paint from garage or shot effect to be precise.

Another similar idea referring to the in-game clan system. What about a system where there is a grid of like 16 different tasks for each clan-mate to choose from and all participate in completing it. Like "example" is working on this task, and a clan-mate can join in on the task to complete it. Completing tasks could possibly bring minor rewards as small supply or crystal packages, container, gold box? It could be organized into seasons, not like full battle pass season thing, but just season as in time limit to complete them. Completing all 16 tasks could reward maybe a THIRD currency to the game?? Clan Tokens??? Clan tokens distributed in a system like battle fund of top contributors? Then these tokens could be used in an exclusive shop. Maybe it sells clan badges? A way to have a Clan emblem, Clan Paint, Or just in-game goodies? I don't think this is a repeat of the Shop and Tankoins as it promotes more clan play, another purpose for the in-game clan system, and reward the players of the clan for being active.

Wow! This is a very good idea, and, it can make the game better and more exciting.

Also, because of this system, clans would be more important.

Now with the new HTML5 versions you no longer need a pro battle pass, premium, or Clan membership to join pro battles. This makes the point of a clan kind of pointless. I think that they should have some sort of new thing for clans so there is a reason that you should apart of one. Something like battle bonuses or in game rewards for staying in a clan for a certain amount of time. Any sort of incentive.

I am asking the powers that be to create a "Clan Bank".  It would be able to accept deposits of supplies to be distributed to deserving members by the supreme commander. This would add motivation to join a clan. It would foster development of Noobs into real players. It would create a rewards system for adherence to clan strategy and tactics. Any member should be able to make a deposit. The Supreme Commander would not be able to distribute to him or herself

Any thoughts or Comments?

A clan vault would be nice to add,a place to store un-used paints,hulls,turrets,even supplies and add vault crystal system to go towards buying supplies and other stuff.

You can loan out hulls/turrets but if someone tried to leave clan thinking they can steal  the items on loan would return back to the vault,supplies are expendable so its a no brainer there. Members that are allowed to loan out euipment and supplies would be ranked base.

I seen a post farther up a clan missions tab would be a great addition too,get so many kills in clan groups and so on..

Hi tanki online community im here to tell you guys about something that will change inactive clans on the game , i see many clans without a commander and their supreme-commander is inactive or doesn't play anymore so players can't join the clan , no one can change the clan profile , no one takes care of the clan so the clan dies and i think clans were not created for this , so the update would just make  at least 1 active commander to take care of the clan forever just like a supreme-commander added a commander .

The commander would be the 2nd person of the clan but the system will see if he's active or not if he's not then the system will check everyone on the clan to see the most active player to put him as commander.

This will not make any difference on active clans with commanders but it will make a huge difference with all inactive clans without commanders.
