I know. It's just that every single "tanki is dying" post or topic before this one was to do with complaining that bad updates are making players leave and destroying the game. This particular topic is a first :D

2. I DID Invite ppl to this game back when it had SLTV n i found this game 'Fun' but at that time, Most of my classmates played on console, so cant inv them to tanki, others who have PC play GTA, COD, CS, NFS etc etc, there was totally no chance of them to start, They made fun of the game when they tried it out and all of em left before even reaching WO1. TX is dead. TO is dead.

u just noticed it now.. look tanki will come back to live soon , when March break starts up ..this is when more players have time to battle and hang with there friends.. for now it is slow and has always been slow in the months of Jan and Feb... In March will be Miss tanki and Mr tanki contest , this is also a busy time... also some of the players have jumped over to tanki x , but they do stop in and battle here also

They made fun of it because they don't know what i a real game like tanki franchise. Tanki franchise is a very competitive game to me.

Nah, if everyone preferred tanki X, there would be no players here in TO. Personally I don't like TX, it doesn't have the same feel as TO :( after seeing TO is finally on steam, I'm glad cos I have faith it's here to stay for some time atleast, hopefully many more players will join cos currently the amount of players feels so low. It takes a long time for me to find a battle which I like :( maybe I'm picky, but the amount of battles is considerably way less than before (yet somehow there's like triple the lag but anyway)

The reason this would close is that the devs and such - alternitiva - wouold no longer be making enough money to employ CM's such as cedric or others.

Players who are just interesting about having the best turrets and hulls, are welcome to start leaving Tanki Online :) anyway other people will start playing instead of them.

Actually, that's not that accurate. There is a clear decline in the number of players that are on tanki online. Just take the fact that there were consistently 60000-80000 people on the game a few years ago, and now the game has probably 20000-40000 players on it consistently.

Also, I agree with kurt. The game has less players than before and yet it has more lag. Maybe it's just my computer has gotten more full as I've played over the 5 years, but I'm pretty sure that if I wasn't able to play DotA2 2 years ago due to lag, and now because of an update, I can play with no lag at all, tanki's devs are doing something wrong.

They are trying to fix the lag, in fact they found out vulcans were causing critical errors. Guess which turret is going to be removed from the game next week.  :ph34r:

Yes, besides the spanish and the english, I've also learnt the enough russian knowledge. It's true, the game has lost lots of players, but it's because either they get bored easily, they can't deal with the experienced players, or they can't simply put up with the changes done by the developers, because most of the players can't see this updates as they are. It's true, Tanki is a business and needs real money, but the updates they do is for the benefit of Tanki.
