Patch Update #439 - Balance Changes, New Alterations and Bug Fixes

I have a feeling this is going to make twins very ineffective at close ranges, due to splash damage. But since it is a close range weapon (I play only on small maps with Titan) I'll end up killing myself and making this weapon useless. UGH.

People put twins on medium hulls and ram into people so they couldnt move. Now you cant do that without spending 50k.

Yeah there is an amount of fun to that. Now they ruin it?? It takes skill to get the rotation of your turret right, and now I can't pin anyone and circle-strafe them without self destructing? This update is ruining twins. And Rico.

Now I must spent 50 000 cry to return my Twins to normal. Thanks developers. Vulcan is  useless crap and now is even worse. And I have full M4.

Only good is that I must pay to get self destruckt on my Richochet.

I play Poligon CP supplies OFF, whole time, and I can not remember, when I seen last time Vulcan in this battle. As it does not exist in the game. Developers making changes as because some turret is OP, and not see that impact force at Thunder is ridiculously strong, almost stronger as to in Railgun.

Shot of Thunder M4 can turn around Viking for 60 degrees .

No, because Splash Damage and Self-Damage are now default features of the turret. The Alteration removes them.

So basically this makes disadvantage for the user of twins. And calling it nubish was the trick only.

But no worries who gonna play in normal maps. :D

Changes is happen there more often. ^_^

Aren't the developers making too many turrets splash damage?

First thunder by itself, which made sense, but now, twins, Rico, Vulcan, a new striker....

Self splash damage for fire and freeze pls :P

even 1% it will make battle more balance.

Fire is basically suicide turret after all.

and freeze is annoying when sitting on flag.

Tanki would be better place. Perfect.

I like how everyone is complaining about vulcans weak damage but none of them understand its a huge buff.

It's a huge buff for player who sit still with their mammoth pouring bullets out at long range.

But for our small community of imaginative players who put it on a Wasp or a Hornet the loss of the vertical angle is massive.  Vulcan used to be the #1 weapon for vertical reach.  That matters hugely to the players who use speed to move between firing positions and move to take advantage of elevation advantages.

What tanki did is very close to just taking the m1 alteration and applying it to every Vulcan.  But the m1 alteration is still in place.... what's the point to that? Who is going to pay 50,000 Cry to reduce vertical arc to next to nothing in exchange for a turret that spins like a top?

This atop a huge 10% damage reduction just awhile ago.

Firebird got some alterations that now let it hit at Smoky ranges and a brief exposure will give you massive afterburnl. Those alterations do not vary the styles of Firebird.... they flat-out make Firebird a much more powerful weapon.  But smoky users and Vulcan users and Isida users (all 3 turrets  use) get alterations that reduce their damage output and/or combat effectiveness.

It's hard to take this company seriously anymore.

And there is still some noobs out there said vulcan is op....

It takes 3.7 sec to destroy a WASP. 3.7 sec people!!!

And you now even want to take away its gyroscope feature, the only advantage of vulcan???

It feels like originally I was holding a mini gun, and now I'm holding a horrible M16 A1...

What the hell is wrong with these people

Anyway this is properly the worst "re balance" ever

I just purchased Minotaur a couple of weeks ago and was thrilled to be able to use Twins again effectively.  I just played a Polygon CP with my new Twins/Viking and it was TERRIBLE.  If you shoot while driving downwards, you blow up from splash damage.  If you shoot in the pit at your enemy you blow up from splash damage.  The splash damage to your enemy is absolutely minimal.  All another tank has to do is run up into your turret and Twins blows up from splash damage.  It can be corrected with the purchase of an alteration, but damn...50,000

Twins was a good short and mid-range turret.  Now short range has been eliminated...at least on any crowded maps.  I am so tired of everything changing all the time.  It is frustrating to save for months to buy a kit/turret only to have it ruined by some pointless update.

TankiOnline...you are very very lucky that there is little out there to compete with your game.  If there was much of anything, your players would be gone in a heartbeat.  Why not try to make your player happy for a change...read this forum....it's 80% complaints!  Doesn't that tell you something?

Who would possibly spend real money on a game that changes so dramatically from month to month?  I want to know what I buy and get what I pay for.  Your game is free and I will continue to play...but it could be so much more!  I don't understand.

                                           Stop the Changes

Twins seem too op now, I hope they don't nerfe it. Splash works only at 1 meter and you can hardly self destruct, especially given that it does lower damage than thunder and you can control the self destruct better. Good thing is that you can shoot at the back of your team mate and deal damage at someone in front of him, no more blocked shots. Would be ace at arena and polygon.

Con is that you take a lot of damage if you have someone max close to you, but the rest makes up for this and does fell less noobish weapon now.

I change my opinion about Twins update. Great update. No more noob pushing other Tanks. Now you must play smart with Twins.  Actually now if you use Twins with plasma core acceleration, then you get a very OP wepon on larger maps. If you use Twins on smaler map like Island or Arena is better to turn off plasma core acceleration and turn on Stable plasma alterations. But only problem with this is, you need to have crystal to buy it.  :D Now, if you want to push other tanks, just give 50 000 cry and become Noob again.  :P
