This is what most players want, we don't hate change, just don't change things we already own, make the change in the alterations, and everyone will be happy. :)

well said...but Tanki doesn't care what you want, you are hooked and now they are squeezing us junkies...they will keep us going for free, barely, but if you want real play (fun) you need to buy (real money) crystals

Stop the Changes

I just purchased Minotaur a couple of weeks ago and was thrilled to be able to use Twins again effectively. I just played a Polygon CP with my new Twins/Viking and it was TERRIBLE. If you shoot while driving downwards, you blow up from splash damage. If you shoot in the pit at your enemy you blow up from splash damage. The splash damage to your enemy is absolutely minimal. All another tank has to do is run up into your turret and Twins blows up from splash damage. It can be corrected with the purchase of an alteration, but damn...50,000

Twins was a good short and mid-range turret. Now short range has been eliminated...at least on any crowded maps. I am so tired of everything changing all the time. It is frustrating to save for months to buy a kit/turret only to have it ruined by some pointless update.

TankiOnline...you are very very lucky that there is little out there to compete with your game. If there was much of anything, your players would be gone in a heartbeat. Why not try to make your player happy for a change...read this forum....it's 80% complaints! Doesn't that tell you something?

Who would possibly spend real money on a game that changes so dramatically from month to month? I want to know what I buy and get what I pay for. Your game is free and I will continue to play...but it could be so much more! I don't understand.

Not gonna get worked up over this - I'm long over getting attached to any one piece of equipment. I've learned that lesson the hard way *cough* Viking *cough*

Alterations were promising. A couple are even good (Hammer High Capacity Drum). But now alterations are little more than a means to reverse (or exacerbate!) a stock parameter change. Very disappointing. I'd like to see alterations demonstrate more out of the box thinking.

I have both Twins and Rico M4. Haven't played with the new versions yet, so I can't comment on them. One concern I have with Twins is the effective damage - it used to seem like you HAD to be right next to your enemy to deal full damage. Now that's not possible? I won't miss players ramming me with Twins though. Of course, Fire and Freeze will still ram me. So... splash damage coming soon???

Sorry, but the Ricochet without ricocheting should be called Riconot. This is one weird alteration.

The thing that irritates us about the Twins is not the lack of splash damage, it is its high DPS and without the need to reload. It beats all short-range turrets in short-range combat and mid-range turrets in mid-range combat. That is what needs rebalancing, not removing after-burn and freeze effects of Fire and Freeze, respectively.

...

I don't understand why this new feature is by default. While the new Rico feature is available with an alteration...

Anyway, yeah, Twins sucks a lot now.

That's easy. They made cool alterations, and nobody bought them, so the logical thing is to force you to buy them. How to do that? By making your turret suck seriously. Now, you have to buy the alteration to restore it to what it was before or die literally.

Omg, the self damage for Twins is so high... This is ridiculous. This weapon is now irrelevant for maps like Deck-9, Arena, Island... Even in Polygon, it majorly sucks.

I honestly think it seems stronger for some reason. I do think the splash radius should be bigger though. You rarely damage more than 1 enemy, but almost always damage yourself.

Thats funny because they were doing fine a few years ago. The amount of servers since then has been more than halved.

Because back then the game was still relevant. Quite hard to keep a 9-year old MMO game going with all these more advanced games being released all the time, so it's surprising that TO is doung so well despite being an outdated game.

Surprising indeed, but they can get reasonable profits without destroying game balance.

Vulcan has weak damage after the first big nerf, and now it even lost its gyroscopic effect!!!

Now vulcan is basically has weak damage and low accuracy, so what's the point of using it??

Weak damage is the %of lowest possible damage done after effective range. Smoky has 10%, so if you shoot at someone on the other side of berlin youll only do 10% of smokys normal damage. With vulcan, they buffed that from 25% to 50% so now it does double the damage to said enemy. This is actually a pretty big buff.

i'm sure he is trolling, with that new account.

aaaaand, i'm sure he is an Isida M3 or M4 player, happy with the nerf of Twins, to feel better about his Isida.

You are hilarious! I have a field marshal account called tankomate1, it's registered through miniclip and can't log in with it here.

And yes, I really enjoy the new twins, bought it at the latest sale and i don't regret now. Judging by the increased number of people using it, I'm not the only one who think so.

Splash damage stinks. It should be an alteration not standard. Auto aim is not working. There is nothing about the update that makes it less noob. In fact it's worse than before. A good update for twins would've been giving it recoil so it can un-flip itself.

i believe rico should also have splash damage.. As they both r plasma weapons and both must have splash..

And I also want tanki to create the plasma format.. In which they put Twins, rico, rail and isida.. tey all look like plasma so pej..

But who will use Vulcan in long range? Vulcan lost its auto-aim degrees. Probably 1/3 OR 1/2 of old. + I get my aim now so easily knocked off. It will be fair if Vulcan gets about 10-20% buff in damage too. It is the worse m3 in game. After this patch update I am 100% sure, that all agree with me
