by the way,

I wanted to buy a 20% rail protection module this sale (esports..) and noticed I can not do this.

There is no such module at my rank, I can just buy 33% (which I have already in 2 modules -.-)

Some solutions?

If you combine the damage + overheating time nerf it adds up to 25%. It was significant. It's like the developers want to destroy Vulcan. I can barely see a Vulcan player other than myself on Polygon. Thunders everywhere.

-No impact force

-Nerfed DPS

-Fast overheating

-Laughable firing angle

-No gyroscope

Are there any advantages of this turret? LOL

Vulcan will be a laughing matter for other tankers, not a fearsome enemy.

^absolutely true.

I've seen no Vulcans in polygon for a very long time now; some months ago it was a common turret (not too many, not too few, just right).

Today I see a loooot of hammers, and Firebirds with the Alteration are all around.

I truely think Vulcan needs a buff..

It's funny when the people think your Twins makes self-damage and they drive up close and ram your tank, but you got the new alteration and you can put the brick on the space bar

I HATE YOU ALL DEVS, YOU RUIN TWINS

I totally agree, Playing twins after this update means you opponent just needs to run into twins and shoot once to kill him with self damage / splash damage. There is NO Way that this helped balance the game.

The new damage is way too much to even exist on the map. I just played again today and when i'm usually place somewhere in the top 1/3 rankings I now am dead last with 1-2 kills and 30-35 deaths.

I can't make headway!!!

maybe you should read the Tanki Wiki, because this is where I have this information from. Give it a try, there is a lot to learn from the game mechanics section.

For your corner-problem consider to use the camera. I rarely get suprised by an enemy behind a corner right infront of my nose because I usually lift the camera up to spot behind the corner. It's a must for rail, but even if I use Titan Twins I do so (has become second nature).

But still you will die, until you've learned to get along with it. It is harder now, definitely. And sometimes anoying.

Do you see the tiles on the floor of the battlefield?

Each tile is 5x5 meters.

Even roads and grass and such stuff is composed by such tiles (called prop's).

A dropzone mark on the floor is abooooouuut the same size.

There are a lot of people complaining about splash damage on Twins and it would be somewhat pointless to reply to everyone. So I'll condense it into one post.

I played with Twins M2 a bit over the past few days, and while it may be bad for Twins users, it's much better for the game as a whole. Instead of mindlessly charging with my tank I had to keep back and try to destroy my enemies at range. It made me think before getting myself into a situation where my tank would be trapped/have poor maneuverability and self-destruct. The update makes game play with Twins more interesting from a strategic standpoint.

Yes, it's a nerf, and obviously Twins users don't like it. But consider the benefits:

1. You can still buy the alteration if you want the old, more powerful Twins back.

2. The update makes it MUCH harder for mults to troll people with Twins. They'll just self destruct and rage quit eventually.

3. Now, playing against Twins is more manageable. It encourages Twins users to use it as the mid-range turret it's supposed to be. No more noobs who don't turn their turrets and just charge you.

Concerning Vulcan, I don't understand the nerf at all. Vulcan went from an OP turret at M3, M4, and M0 to a way under powered turret at all modifications, and so did Ricochet. Just because a turret is feared does not mean it should become easy prey.

Oh yeah I forgot the overheating time nerf! Add that to the -10% and the two nerfs compete for Worst Place.

The only place I saw  more than the occasional single  Vulcans yesterday was in a Massacre CP bout. There were 3 maybe 4 in that battle. There the weak damage boost probably helps some.

The bigger firing angle was useful on Massacre though...

Yeah, Twins users have to learn to drive backwards now, then it's actually not that hard. Like railgunners that have to drive backwards while defending themselfes or while they retreat to the next hideout during a defense role.

It is harder, but it's bearable at the moment. Twins have to think more.

I will quote this every day until I get an answer. This bug is not fixed ;)

Well, I can give you an answer: the bug isn't fixed. Why? I don't know.

Posting the question over and over again will not make you receive an answer as to why it hasn't been fixed yet any sooner though.

I have to say Tanki has taken a game that was enjoyable and turned it upside down with all of the latest changes.  First you take every turret that someone has build over a few years and you trash them, them want us to buy alterations to fix your change.  Makes no sense except to waste crystals.  The only guys that win are the long time legends that can switch to some other fully mu gun they have that now is better then the last fully mu they used.

I agree, vulcan was extremely irritating to verse, now its balanced even at m4 level

I do not think you understood what ThirdOnion wrote. If you agree with him then you agree Vulcan is now a weak turret.

It's not really to know why this bug isn't fixed. it's for developpers to see that the bug isn't fixed, so they should edit the Patch topic and remove the part about this bug.

As for why, I guess they are too busy working on new updates or the turret. It's typical with Tanki, sadly. They release updates or new things too soon, (DM tournament, ratings) and then they rush to work on other updates.

This MU glitch is annoying, they removed the ability to see the settings of a battle while we play, the glitch in Rio is still not fixed. Those are small things, yes. But one small thing + small thing = trouble. Big things have small beginnings.

You seriously think they can fail at takeovers, what with all the mults they place?

Well for them to come over here in the wrong post and start saying 'bad update supplies' i'm sure they failed a dozen takeovers even with mults if u say so :P
