[Declined] ingame personal messaging system

Recommended Posts

I propose that we have a personal messaging system that is usable while ingame, and when sending invites to games. I'm sure that everyone has had someone send multiple invites to you for a full battle, or a PRO battle, and you don't have a pass (this happened to me yesterday trying to do a 1v1 battle with a friend. he would send an invite, I would decline, and try to message him in chat, and he wouldn't see it while he was in battle, he would leave, and create another, and never got my message, that I couldn't do PRO battles) I think that when you send an invite to a battle, you should be able to send a small message to the person you are inviting, and you should be able to respond to that message, and it be displayed along with your answer to the invite ingame. Also, if you are messaging someone who you are not inviting to a battle, it could display an exclamation point in the friends icon, or a separate messaging icon could be added.

Declined

Sorry, but this isn't possible. Developers wanted to add it but can't figure out how to do it within the Flash game engine. See full answer here.

Really they could implement this. If they wanted to. But it wouldn't be the same like a email type deal would be.

It would have to be a sep. Chat window where messages aren;t deleted  - lets say I click on Mafioso, and send him a message. That message won't be removed. and is stored in the database.

See it is possible lol - it just depends what kind of UI they want.

Why not use the foundation of gift messages? Not much of a need to explain, because it could use the system that gifts use to deliver messages. They have prolly already considered this, but you never know.

If you really want to send a message to someone, use the badge.

Could it be possible if it was written in another language (possibly virtual) and then integrated into flash engine using another library?

There are too many other more important  updates that the developers are working. They have not the necessary time to improve the Flash engine. Moreover, most of the updates which can't be implemented due to the Flash are simply useless.
