Someone posted a link of gold rain but no action taken by moderators for some people like this in the attachment below server are lagging too much

It's allowed to post link for any kind of battles , but it's not allowed to make players flooding by saying "say + for a gold box" or something like that.

Moderators can not be looking out everywhere 24/7. After all they are just volunteering to help the game, so it is simply not possible to have an eye out all the time, on all servers.

But because of this low ranked people our game spoils some action should be taken i know that moderators cannot be everywhere but we should be able to vote them

Well, it's up to the chat moderators , If players are flooding in the chat a moderator will ban them. if you don't like to see players spamming use the ignore option.

The most common thing happening, is that there is a mod around, and when a flooder starts doing that nonsense, the moderator isn't around anymore. Within a matter of seconds. I had seen that happening several times.

As I see the things there's a way to stop it... and the way is to be able to report players who flooding or making other players to flood.

Flood is not report-able, best thing to do is to ignore the player flooding.

 

Or call a mod over from another server if possible.

 

However if someone is provoking players to spam i.e 'ALL SAY + FOR GOLD' then I reckon a provocation ban could be issued upon reporting since i've seen it happen on chat, but not entirely sure if it counts in chat violation reports.

Please do note that chat moderators cannot be active on all servers 24/7. Chat Moderators have lives outside of Tanki also. If you ever see a chat violation you can always report it in the Chat Violations section on the Forum. And if you ever have a complaint about a moderators work, always be sure to contact the appropriate admin. Try not to make a Post/Topic about it on the Forum.

I think they mostly bake cookies, and while they enjoy them with a hot cup of earl grey, they look at the server chats as an afterthought. :D

Fear not everyone, i have a solution! Hire more mods and make servers with active staff highlighted so you can get a mod whenever you need one.

It's just flood, nothing major... simply block such players and you won't see flood anymore. We do not accept such reports because in most cases flooders are banned for an hour and they probably won't even notice it. 

 

And for the record, we did complain to developers about the flood issue several times already (we thought it's best if such issues are prevented in the first place) but I guess it's not high on their list of priorities...

But such players should be disconnected from the global chat because you may be discussing something important. Its annoying that you have to block someone. When in battle chat you speak to fast and youll get banned for flood. 

 

Its a very bad system. And it needs to be revamped. I understand Mods can't be there all the time, but with automation it can be done automatically.

Ostrica I don't understand one thing > Others flood but we get the cooldown for chat. Like if someone does flooding , then for me to type "hi" it takes 7-10 seconds
