WHAT ARE THE MODERATORS DOING?

Recommended Posts

Please stop acting like respected human ,with an alternate account I saw you how flooding nonstop on Ru1 ,in fact "caught" ,hopefully I have several screenshots which may or not send when I go with pc ,it's up to me

hhhhhh u think people dont know it was me?

Saving screenshots of flood is pointless...

Ostrica I don't understand one thing > Others flood but we get the cooldown for chat. Like if someone does flooding , then for me to type "hi" it takes 7-10 seconds

A '.' is quicker to type than 'hi'

This type of flooding in main servers should not be tolerated

hhhh

PS. why is this post not closed (cwl)

Its annoying that you have to block someone.

Why is it annoying? You just click on their nickname and press "Ignore" - less than 2 seconds!

That's exactly why we complained to developers and asked for something to be done internally, by developing a solution for it.

Agreed and because we felt the same way, we send the note to developers who are the only ones able to prevent such issues.

Yes and I am saying that a full stop is one whole less character on the chat

Thanks for the reply. But the chat team is gr8 and mostly tries to catch all violators .(I remember once a gold dropper was banned for making others spam)There are only a few others who create alts and do flooding.

^^^ I'm aware that you're doing everything that you can in your own power, but it's in the hands of the devs to properly distribute a solution that will work, which hopefully they do in the near future. Thanks.

simply block such players and you won't see flood anymore.

It's old and won't work. Ok "simply" tell me how many players should I ignore per every day ?? 1 ? 2 ? 5 ? 20 ? Or 50???

It's ok,now it's chat issue and you are it's admin.,

Please take responsibility at least -.-

It's just flood, nothing major... simply block such players and you won't see flood anymore. We do not accept such reports because in most cases flooders are banned for an hour and they probably won't even notice it.

And for the record, we did complain to developers about the flood issue several times already (we thought it's best if such issues are prevented in the first place) but I guess it's not high on their list of priorities...

Then just removing flood from the rules.

I took the responsibility, we reported the issue to developers and took proactive course in the meantime - we are asking you to work with us until the issue can be resolved. Just banning flooders won't solve anything because they keep coming back and that's a vicious, never-ending cycle. The flood simply has to be prevented and handled in bulk.

Then just removing flood from the rules.

That's not helping.

Most flooding players seem to flood by tagging super-long non-existant nicknames. Since actual player nicknames are only allowed a certain number of characters (20), why isn't there a system in place to limit the length of a nickname that someone can "tag", to 20 characters?

I think that would clear up some of the flood.

Moderators can not be looking out everywhere 24/7. After all they are just volunteering to help the game, so it is simply not possible to have an eye out all the time, on all servers.

It's like that one meme but like this:

I don't always watch over all of Tanki's servers...

But when I do:

Player1 has been banned for SIX MONTHS. Reason: [insert reason here]

Player2 has been banned for a MONTH. Reason: [insert reason here]

Player3 has been banned FOREVER. Reason: [insert reason here]

Player4 has been banned for a week. Reason: [insert reason here]

Player5 has been banned for a YEAR. Reason: [insert reason here]
