free screen video recording software?

 Share

Recommended Posts

I don't currently have any interest in making videos for youtube, but lately, I have had a massive amount of foul play in game, that I wish I could report. from a friendly smoky flipping teammates who are attempting to get the blue teams flag on noise, to a fly hacker stealing a gold box on silence. both of those things happened in just the last few days, and I could go on for pages the amount of foul play I have experienced over the last 2 years. I am just looking for a way to record video while I am playing, and use it to report malicious foul play, and hackers.

Any suggestions on a recording software I can use? I have a video editing software already.

I am using a toshiba laptop (cannot remember exact model) with windows 10. I will post computer specs if needed.

I wouldn't use Bandi Cam. It has embedded Adware in it.

I use Ezvid as reccomended by another player. It has no ads, and can be uploaded to youtube from the application only bad part is idk how to upload it without uploading to youtube.

Another good one is openbrodcaster - which is widely used in the gaming community which also will save it for you.

Get ScreenCastify web extension on Google Chrome.

You can use it for recording just 1 tab, or specific tabs. (So no worries if you don't play on Chrome)

On top of that, you won't even have to download the video of the violation - you can just get a shareable link!

Bandicam is free if you're fine with massive watermark and 10 minutes limit.

Action is good for virtually no lag when recording, livestreaming, no recording limit, but 30 days free

OBS is good for many free features, though it may take you a bit to figure it out.

You can also use the Windows Game Bar if you are on Windows 10
