It's pretty self explanatory, u can buy a forum avatar, more cooler, more money. Y should only mods enjoy this feature? So it's Easyer to tell mods, make theirs exclusive.

Avatars are disabled on this forum to keep it looking neat and clean. Some forums do sell certain in-game statuses, which also give the player a unique format on the forum to make them stand out. Ours provides a special rank icon for all Premium players.

 

So while it's possible (although unlikely) that more highlights will be given to premium accounts, selling avatars on their own will not.

Doesn't matter. Avatars are a special symbol for adminstrators and Mods its been like this for ages.

The staff are the unique ones who are able to have their own avatar, and it makes the difference among the usual players and them.

You said it "A long time ago", it means the forum was outdated, now the admins think the stuff better and decided that just the staff will be able to have their avatar.

but it's not correct. I just didn't feel like repeating myself ;) also they were already talking of adding more customization to the forum profiles. This was included. I just wanted to make sure it was still their plans, because that was a couple years ago.

But if you have the "vast" knowledge about what you are talking, you would tell me more arguments. ;). If this was in their plans some years ago, or even nowadays, it doesn't mean they will be implemented, as other many ideas... this one will be considered and after a hard study, it will be rejected. I bet it ;): By the way, remind that April Fools days come faster than you can see them. ;)
