WoW bad update. Last update you made rico way over powered now you nerf hammer and make shaft 1 shot 1 kill for viking. That will ruin the dynamic of flag taking when there is a shaft there.

Imagine how bad the situation at noise will be. Its already lost its colour after the last few updates

Oh wait. Guys i got a theory.

Maybe tanki did this update for the upcoming m3 alterations. 

Theyll re add the vampiring effect to isida as the m3 alteration.

This could very well be their way of promoting the alterations. Thats what they did, nerf the isida's self heal then send a buff as an alteration.

Interesting theory...

But I don't rly see that happening. Maybe it will, maybe it won't. We shall wait and see :)

Yeah but, I still think Noise battles are very exciting. Even at the slightly lower rank range, I get into reasonably easily get into a noise and have lots of fun. The battles are still action-packed and I couldn't really ask for more.

As a free to play user I don't think I should complain about any update at all since I have fun playing without contributing with money.

Interesting update to be honest...Isida before the huge nerf was ridiculously strong and that's why I bought it back in the days. With drugs you did not need much skill to perform well but if used by someone who has brain too it was a beast, mainly because of that self healing. After the nerf this feature became a joke but I still somehow managed to perform decently with it if I played the right maps since I usually focus on healing teammates. Consequently, I won't miss the self heal at all. I'm really curious how these changes will affect the gameplay.

Shaft being able to 1 shot medium hull seems quite a big deal espeacially in drug battles. Now one can not simply take a shot from a DD shaft and use a RK to be perfectly fine unless he has protection. Too bad changes in the damage of arcade shots will ruin the gameplay of Shaft Wasp users...

As for Hammer, I think changes were not needed. This update comes with a slight change in it's gameplay...Careful where you use that last shot in order to fully reload since it may take self damage...

With more Splash and more bouncing shots, Blue will be at an even bigger disadvantage in Noise.

This is apparently unfair. This "strategy" is used to make all players buy all guns which is hard to most of the players. Furthermore, what is the benefit of micro upgrades if you gonna make changes to powerful guns and make it ineffective? Or at least weaker.

 

Players rely on how powerful are guns to upgrade them, but if u gonna make it weaker with every update, why would I upgrade a gun and I know you gonna make changes on it or rather make it useless?

 

Stability is required for every game.

Well your time is important, no?  You "invest" time gaining crystals to acquire equipment. Then after you acquire the equipment it's drastically changed. Often for the worse...

I'm curious as to what (say M3) an isida can kill in 5 seconds. What can a firebird (with alt) kill in 5 seconds?

 

Shaft... 1 shot a medium?  So if the Shaft has DD the medium hull is toast no matter what - even with DA (the DD & DA will cancel out).

Only a Protection Module (at 250k) will save you (combined with DA).

And when will fix a server lag ? RU1 , RU2, RU3 and yesterday even EN1 start lag. On this severs I need five times  refresh to enter in battle  and sometimes get stuck, that can not even move my Tanks.

 

Do not just say that I change another server, because on the other servers, there is nothing to play. Yesterday even my Tanks fled from the garage because of lag.  It's not just since yesterday, this has been going about two month and all because of this update after update.

My time is important. If I don't like the game instead of complaining I could play another game. It's not that difficult. Sure, playing tanki is nice (well...most of the times), but there are many good games out there.  Tanki Online is a business and it shouldn't be any different so the decisions of the devs should serve one purpose: getting more money. As I do not contribute I feel that my opinion is not relevant for them. It is their game and they can make what they want with it.

That's what I said. DA and RK no longer save you from a Shaft with DD.  Many Shafts that I've met could one shot my Viking M4 anyway in PRO Battles so I got used to this anyway.  A Shaft will deal more than 3k dmg in one full charge (since it will one shot medium hulls) so with alteration that makes it more than 3900 damage if I've done the calculations right. So those mults without enough MUs that use heavy hulls can be afraid of shaft  or even M4s too but I am not sure since I haven't seen how much damage Shaft  will deal after this update. I already have a half MUed Jade LGC Module and I don't regret the investment.  Moreover, 250k are not really hard to get even as a free to play user although I'd rather get a new turret instead of a protection module...

Sure, reload time will be longer, but they can reload while they are heading back to their base with the flag anyway, with a big smile on their faces.

 

I'm not gonna even touch the alteration issue.

One can switch games sure... but that's not the point.

 

I've already invested a lot of time to get my equipment where it is. then it suffers a large set-back due to an "update". Now it may not be playable the way I wanted, but I can't get the time I've "invested" back. it's gone.

 

The constant "updates" have been frustrating gamers lately. And this contributes to why more and more people have been leaving tanki. Soon there will be so few people online it won't be playable due to lack of battles.

Hammer was my favourite turret over the past few months and I had so much fun getting a K/D of 10-20 in every battle. :D 

I am a bit sad about this change, but I gotta admit that it was the right decision - the turret was obviously way overpowered. Oh well, all good things eventually come to an end...  :unsure:

Isida was already useless, so increasing the damage will actually bring it back to use. Although 5 seconds energy pool is too short.

 

Hammer changes actually sounds like a improvement to me. The 2 seconds between shots often feels like eternity when you have a constantly shooting close range turret against you. And hammer is meant for close combat, so shoot and hide is not an option, I often get killed just before i shoot. Decreasing the time between shots is a must.

Many weapons with self - damage now in the game probably to show us who are the pro users for this weapons and who are the <<noob>> users.

Who knows in the future maybe we will see friedly fire on in every battle or in clan battles.

I've already invested a lot of time to get my equipment where it is. then it suffers a large set-back due to an "update". Now it may not be playable the way I wanted, but I can't get the time I've "invested" back. it's gone.

 

I've seen many people who complain about these changes. Some just don't seem to like changes at all, of any kind. But there are many people who are disappointed mainly because they can not use anymore some turrets the way they wanted because of these changes in gameplay but if you play the game you need to take this risk. Sure, I understand that it can be frustrating at times when you work so hard and you can't play the game as you want but I don't think there is something that can be done in order to prevent these changes from happening. 

 

I've invested 650 hours in this game and got 3 M4s. They have changed my Thunder, transfromed my Viking into that Hunter which everyone seems to hate, and they've drastically changed my Isida. I do not regret spending any of my crystals the way I did. Even if the way I used my equipment changed I still enjoy playing and that's what I find important.

No matter how drastic these changes were no turret was underpowered if used corectly, not even Isida after the nerf. In my opinion it is the performance in battle that gives us satisfaction so as long as we perform well we will enjoy the game. If gameplay changes, we will adapt and have fun or we won't adapt, suffer and leave.

 

Hats down for all these balance changes we are facing. In my opinion they are excellent as marketing strategies, somewhat forcing us to buy certain turrets, alterations, protections. Devs always amaze me with these.
