Adopt a Noob Program (Facebook Page)

Hey!

 

First of all I'm not sure if I am posting in the right section, so if it's wrong, please move it! :)

 

 

I have created a Facebook page, with the goal of gathering "adopters" to adopt "noobs", in order to teach them the game, since the initial tutorial gives a tanker the very basics of the game and that's it, a player must figure it out alone from that point, which is honestly intimidating and it usually ends up with the tanker giving up on the game (especially with all the buyers).

 

I have seen the confusion of low-rankers and I understand it, and there is no outlet for them to learn from beside YouTube videos or spamming mods with questions...

 

 

So the whole point of the page is matching noobs with adopters, as a noob, you'll have someone to ask all your questions to, someone showing you around, giving you tips, and basically helping you on your journey, a mentor if you will, and eventually, a friend.

 

 

Every other game has a similar program beside Tanki online, unless you were fortunate enough to accidentally run into someone kind enough to help you out.

 

I've already created the page, but how do I go on about this? Am I allowed to post the link/name here?

Would anyone be willing to be an adopter to start with? I honestly feel very bad for the tankers that are joining recently especially that Tanki is changing constantly.

 

 

So please, reply to me on what to do, if I'm allowed to post a link here or something, you guys can check the page out and you can tell me what to edit in order to make it better, so we can focus our efforts to help other tankers since this is something really needed in Tanki.

I've honestly had so many good experiences and the people I taught turned out pretty good, although they all spoke English and did exactly as I said and were impressed with the results, not just turrets or hulls, but tricks in maps, I have hope. :)

Honestly, it's going to be tiresome yet rewarding. Individually helping everyone would be nearly impossible so it's best you guys stick to YouTube vids  or  text guides.

I'd be more than happy to adopt a few noobs on my own, I'm already doing it whenever possible, but the Facebook page idea is to organize it and get more people to join in adopting noobs, so it's not going to be one adopter but really anyone who is willing to join and help, I can handle the Facebook page and organizing everything on my own and later on I'd hire mods and show them what to do on the page, the page would be a middleman rather than me being an adopter alone, you can check it out and read the description of the page to get an idea of what I'm trying to do, just search for this on Facebook > Adopt a Noob Program for Tanki Online.

 

I have time on my hands and I'm not playing that much in a competitive sense, so I'd rather help newcomers, if Adriel is serious, then I have already adopted one noob already. :)

I've made a short form for adopters and noobs on the Facebook page, just in order to find suitable adopters to the noobs, for someone just starting out, I can help you with pretty much any hull, turret and map. For someone who is somewhat experienced in the game, I can only offer my help in a few hulls, turrets and maps as you already know a lot and I am only "slightly better" with those few guns, I am really good with Shaft, Smoky, Firebird (Although the last time I used it in a real battle was in  August, months ago, before these updates), I can handle myself well with Vulcan and Thunder, and I am starting to get good at Rail, but I am not good enough at it to teach it yet.

 

As in for hulls, I'm good with Hornet and Titan, of course I am mentioning all of these things because you're already experienced, so I can only give you my knowledge in these guns considering I've used them for years, when it comes to a low-ranker, I'd be better with most hulls and turrets naturally. :)

 

 

Oh and about the maps, many people in EN2 know that I am obsessed with Monte Carlo, so when it comes to MC, I like to think I'm one of the best there, so I can definitely help anyone there, I'm also good in Madness, Skyscrapers, Highways, Brest, Stadium, Arena & Island  (Although there isn't much there to learn), Lost Temple, Esplanade, Camp, Sandbox, Kungur, Serpuhov and Rio. All in that order, as you can see I stated mostly the majority of long-range maps. So please if you think I can benefit you in something, I'd be more than willing to adopt you, too! :) And once again, this is simply because you already are experienced, considering you're a Field Marshal.
