And you are a liar about not seeing anything of the kind.

After my last map round today, and after I complained again about the other team putting fake players onto my team (which they did),

and after I reported said players, my team had at least one other player put a few fake players onto the other team, so I complained AGAINST my team and reported that too...

Since I'm banned from quoting anyone else and/or myself:

This game now is more unbalanced and emphasizes even more frequent cheating...

...what's not to love about that if you're a hacker and/or a multer/saboteur? :o

Saying that I HATE this update/version is being too kind.

I ABHOR it!!!!!!!!!!

Why?

Exactly as I feared....

1) the hackers succeed far more often

2) AND the multers/saboteurs succeed far more often now!!!!!!!!!

How about you just read the information? (hint: "test" ?)

I know it's a test and I'm pee'd off about it because it's a massive failure (unless you like the cheating to stay the same or increase)!!!!

...I'm obviously not referring to purchased supplies/"drugs" since they're legal.

I am instead referring to the less deterrence against the hackers (ie/ fake lags have since increased) and saboteurs (ie/ multing), which have increased since this test started.
(now, just watch the gossip spread about my complaint to where the cheaters will then choose to almost never cheat during the test until AFTER the test becomes an implemented reality...)

I don't like supplies, they make the game dumb in my opinion. Any testing to improve a different way of using supply I welcome.

To be clear, one can buy a pro pass to play without drugs, then there are hardly people joining in. Standard the supplies  are on so you have to deliberately turn them off.

First impressions of the new system after playing with a variety of gull/turret combos ...

Had a game where a fire/wasp seemed bent on running supplies as much as possible. Dunno how he did it but he seemed ot have a lot of icons up when I saw him.

Playing my Col I had a couple games where I just kept getting blasted. Was unable to get much done. Was that because at high levels druggers have more drugs to burn? Or was it because I was on a lame team? I do not know,

My other lower ranks had mostly good games. Didn't see much difference overall.

On the personal level, I did use Supplies less often just since I am unfamiliar with the new system. Wanted to keep my options open. SO I used fewer than normal but still did well.

One specific thing I will be watching with the nerf to Isida this week. Up to now my Isida used the DD supplies least often of them all (except RKs). With the nerf I think I will have to use them more often to compensate for the 50% nerf to ammo supply. But will that be possible? So the new system may make the IsIda nerf  even worse. We'll see.

Thanks Little Willie.
I already noticed that too.
I don't know how they do it but during this test AND BEFORE it, hackers also instantly drugged repeatedly...they hate us buyers being able to mostly compete with their cheating but yes, we buyers who don't hack can't do that with our drugs, unlike them. (never mind them multing our teams as another form of cheating and/or them hacking our systems so we get artificial lags)

Extra Edit:

But this kind of cheating I rarely see.
I typically only see the fake lag cheats and the fake teammates cheat.

I almost never see the fake drugs cheat.

This is much better for players who use supplies strategically, like myself.

However, just been playing a couple of rounds of DM on Desert on a Russian server  #/server=RU7&battle=fffffff289693817 and seen several players cheat the system - mainly large tanks, one with thunder, a couple smoky and a rail. They switched on supplies instantly they hit the ground and, in the case of the thunder, managed to activate all three supplies as they entered battle. This really needs to stop if the update stays. I didn't get player names - too busy doing missions - but I hope you can track them.

The update does give the 'incumbent' an advantage. If you manage to stay for the first minute, you can mix collected supplies with those from the garage and considerably take advantage of tanks just entering battle.

Overall, I'm in favour of the update, especially if cheating can be much better controlled.

[..] This is why any crying got nothing to do with this experiment. And this is why it is conducted on main servers rather than test servers. I don't look for a way to satisfy 'cry babies', I look for a specific changes in certain groups of players, which I can't do anywhere else.

I think, that the timeframe of 48h is too short, to conduct any meaningfull results.

The players need more time to adapt to the new situation; and learn it's pro's and con's in battle, to learn them from each other.

-> I think you should run this for 7 days

btw, another proposal:

Ideas section, December 2016: "Experiment: 1 weekend with reduced effects for supplies and modules"

7 Days? I'm already over the system...

Once again thats just my opinion. Battles just feel depressing now, waiting for that 60 seconds to tick over before excitement can happen again.

we have been down this road many a times..

first start with regular drug drop ..as soon as that drug starts going down you kick on your normal drug , as soon as this one starts to run down you find the closest drug drop .. then it repeats .. so really if you time it right and if you in a large battle field with players ...you should be good to play like this the whole game .. taking only small chances on not getting drops , but in large battles there is way more drops then in smaller battle fields .. if your in smaller battles ,then you stand less chances on getting drug drops then in other fields ..

if you stand back and observe  how druggers work you learn to figure out the time on how fast drugs drop and how easy it is to use garage drugs .. so really druggers will be druggers...

only way around druggers is like i said in another thread

What you're describing is the skill aspect of using supplies, that's required for more professional gameplay. Sure, with the combination of supplies and drops it's possible to be "on full drugs" the whole game. And that's absolutely fine if someone is able to do it, because it simply means that they are skilled enough to know all the drop locations, keep track of drop times and effectively combine drops with own supplies. Everyone has the option of using supply drops, so there's no problem here.

The biggest thing is that the experiment makes it nearly impossible to dominate other players by simply having (and using) more supplies.

Supplies's overpower is the real problem , that should be change first. or either never will be come balance on this game.

Why would supplies be overpowered if everyone has the ability to use them?

A thought on cheating: surely cheats are now obvious. If you run a routine at server level, you should now easily be able to pick out the people who drug instantly they enter battle, or spawn, as this can only be done by cheats. Also pick up people who go instantly from no drugs to full drugs. These should then be automatically banned for a week (say) on first offence, then a month etc.

The new update should make spotting such people very easy - it would then be worth implementing permanently with a lot less whining than we are seeing in the discussions above. What do you think Hazel???

But not everybody has same accessiblity to supplies

If this experiment gets implemented, any free player will be able to save up enough supplies to play effectively every day.
