[Declined] Keep noobs where they belong

Recommended Posts

Three simple ways:

1) ranks should be achieved or given once some specific tests are passed. Tons of Legends cannot turn turret, change vision, listen to sounds, flip tanks, think methodically, etc. Failing tests will keep noobs under ranked and everyone will be happy, them included, as they will be more successful between themselves. Right now everyone, sooner or later, will rank up and the results... no good! There is still a small possibility for parents to give their account to their kids (I lost a majestic long battle today because of a 7 years old boy today...), but at least we limit the phenomenon.

2) Right now you can see Friends in green. Allow to mark in Red, players that you would not like to play with, either because you believe them noobs or just not your favorite. Then I will avoid to join a team which has 3 red players.

3) Once a player has a K/D of 1/20, kick him/her out automatically. Noobs are very resilient players and will totally spoil the game for the rest of the team. Once I had a guy 0-190...

And c'mon... we all agree on this one ;)

Developers believe that every player should be able to progress through the game, regardless of their skill. The only thing you suggested which could potentially become a good feature is the first part with tests. But even then, there will never be actual mandatory tests, required to get a new rank. The best we can expect is a separate feature (like a tutorial), which gives a player optional tasks and rewards them when they complete it.

The second idea has already been suggested before and the third won't happen because K/D is not a reliable indicator of a player's skill.

Your unique good idea is about the free tests.

These tests should be available if the player's K/D is less than 0.75...

I know that the K/D is not related with the player's skills, however if it's very low, shouldn't you believe that there's a problem with his/her skills?

you will only get 1/20

Jk I get it everyday 7/24

Well the situation is really bad I must agree. It's like you play game few months and still not turning turret. I was little noobie too at the start but I didn't give up and I managed to learn commands. I see plenty of buyers with OP tanks everyday, just dreaming of how awesome would I be with such a beast.. and what you get? - 7 years old children non-turning turrets on Brigadier rank owning such M3 tank

Very unreliable. I've lost over 0.1 of my K/D so far just for parkouring more than playing in normal battles for the past few months.

Just wondering about the benefits of that. It is mainly a team effort and for each noob, there will be 4/5 team mates angry at each battle about that presence. The noob will also not feel comfortable getting killed all time.

Noob remaining behind will have an "easier" environment and more time to learn.

not noob, we can't really know, but we know or sure that he is a MULT, and he should be kicked from the battle.

You don't know the difference of a "mult" and a noob? True?

No! Never! Never ever! This is the worst idea ever! This game was not built on being kicked out for not being as good as everyone else! The game would become terrible!

Thank you! You saved the day on that one!

Mults sabotage a team on purpose, noobs do it by accident.

That's why I said that doesn't know the difference among them. He said that a noob is a mult.

Funny thing is i did just that a few days ago and still managed to get over 0.75.

But that is not how things go at these ranks :D unless you camp for a while, attack, camp and then again attack.

Isida???

Isidas are very powerful nowadays. No reason they should have a ratio 1/20. Of course many isidas keep healing the wrong tanks and that does not help neither the team, not themselves.

A die hard attacker with 1/20 will not bring a single flag, as it is the typical noob neither waiting for an attacking team effort nor for a good opportunity. Just run, dead, run, dead, run, dead... Basically one player less in the team.

Isida is powerful, but many still only use it for it's intended reason. Healing team-mates. I rarely see an attacking Isida and with the new update, it will be even rarer

I agree with all you say, but check their K/D: do you really see 1/20 or 0.05?

I have seen game-changing isidas with a K/D of 0.00 or 0/∞
