The kill list scrolls quite quickly up in the top right, especially in DeathMatch mode when it's mayhem.

 

1) In order to see whether that last kill was yours (or if someone else got in at the last minute), highlight your kills in the kill list.

2) In order to see who just killed you (and exact deserving revenge!), highlight who killed you in the kill list.

 

This is already done in the roster when you press <Tab> so you can quickly see your stats in the current battle. If this principle was adopted for the kill list, it would make my kills easier to track.

Good idea. Although you can already notice quite easily when you get a kill because the EXP (rank progress) bar on the top of your screen lights up when you get experience points (e.g. when you kill someone).

Or looking and the damage numbers (provided that you've got them on). Red is for your kill.

I keep coming back to this. The more time goes on, the more I would find highlighting kills useful.

 

As someone who works on application usability - although not in gaming - I think this would help people of all levels. The kill count only tells you that you killed someone, damage points in red is the same, but not whom. In a cluster of many tanks, which occurs in deathmatch, knowing who it was would be useful. However, more useful when finding out who just killed you and how. I guess it comes down to have you ever wondered "who was that and with what was I killed" when you died last.

 

From a usability standpoint, having a single place to look for kills is consistent, and not having to dart your eyes around the screen or interrogate other stats; there's rarely time for that.

I see, smart idea. Many games have this feature. It would just be fun to see you destroyed someone! :D

In DM, all enemies' names are shown in red, while your own name is blue.
