Option for invisible Gold box zones

How about an option to make Gold box drop zones invisible in battles? Nowadays it depends on the size of your hull rather than the skills needed to catch a Gold box. Dictators have the height advantage and aren't very slow either so almost always have the greatest chance of catching it whereas before drop zones were visible, it was all upto your instincts. With invisible drop zones, you'd need to play smart. Either use heavy hulls which have alot of HP, alot of surface area and height but a risky decision to make as they are very slow which could prove fatal if far from the drop zone. Or use light hulls which have low HP, less surface area and height but the speed advantage so would be able to reach the drop zone much quicker.

I'm not sure about this idea, it sounds good as well as not. For me, one of the epic parts of catching a gold box, is find out where is the drop zone, and making it invisible, would take a bit of emotion off.

You must remind that the light hulls have the advantage of climb up over the other hulls, and even if they are using a turret with great impact force (e.g. Railgun, Hammer, Thunder).

Hmm... seems like the title I had first come up with has been replaced but whatever, "GB" might've not been clear enough for some people anyways.

For whatever reason a person may not like it, keep in mind it's an option.

Not everyone can parkour and even for those who can, it's not as easy to do so. Let's assume a Wasp gets on a tank, it's actually harder for lighter hulls to stay on the tank since their surface area and weight are very low so have a very huge chance of getting shot/knocked off whatever tank they are on. Also surely the tank the Wasp is on will most likely purposely move around and shake about in hope to have the Wasp off him.

A lot of skills are necessary to climb up over other tanks as well as keep on them. However, it doesn't mean it's impossible.

I agree, it takes skills, but how many people do you see in an ordinary battle actually using Wasp?

Honestly, the same number like hornet and, remind that hornet is also a light hull.

This topic is about having an *option* to disable the visibility of Gold drop zones. Not looking for people who are not interested or don't care, this topic is for those who agree to come forward so the devs see people like this idea.

The people who are not "interested" are free to leave their opinion. And by the way, it seems that nobody likes this idea. Otherwise, there would be lots of very positive comments.

I had forgotten that you were talking basically about an *option*. However, it doesn't mean it's straightforward... I wouldn't like to find the battles I most like ruined by this option enabled. Finally, having a lot of very minor and unimportant settings will make the game harder to use as new players will often get confused by all the options they will see when creating a battle.

hey bro i really like you code it is very secret not kidding but seriously it is terrible to think what u say

The "code" isn't meant to be secret. It's just unobtrusive so that people know it's not meant to be seen and discussed. It's just for technical use.

Kinda like the concept. But we might have a lot of light hulls running around. Because people would prefer speed and repair kits over slow hulls.

That way the fund will increase alot quicker too, it's a win, win situation.

If you are talking about an "option" who will ever enable it?

If you haven't already noticed, quite a few people like the concept.

You didn't answer my question. Who will enable something that brings disadvantage to their game?
