Option for invisible Gold box zones

before 2014  we did have no drop zone indicators , hope this comes back it was fun having to figure out where gold dropped and we ran around like a bunch of wild chickens . only if you seen it drop you figured out where it was , that  got it .

You didn't answer my question. Who will enable something that brings disadvantage to their game?

Who exactly are you trying to speak for? It seems as if you think everyone sees this as a disadvantageous option. Those who use heavier hulls often would see this as a disadvantage, those who don't would find it to be an advantage. Players can choose whether to enable this option or disable it making it easier to control what type of players join their battles and which don't. Who wouldn't like to play battles with quicker increase in funds, quicker kills landing and fairer chances of catching Gold boxes? Also, if it's their choice to enable it or not, which they will most likely base on what equipment they usually use in battles or specific maps, why on Earth would it be a disadvantage to them? Your question alone doesn't make sense.

Oh.. Your idea wasn't clear. I thought you were talking about an option in your own settings to disable that. You didn't say that this was up to the creator of the map to decide whenever or not add the drop zone to the battle.

Or make an option when u create pro battle it will make supplies drop every where without drop zones like old game

That's not what this topic is about and isn't really beneficial to the game or the players at all.

As many players are interested in the gold boxes than in the actual battles in Tanki, this would lead in the less diversity of hulls in battles. I can't say it's a bad idea as well as good idea, but let's say I quite agree on this.

The "code" isn't meant to be secret. It's just unobtrusive so that people know it's not meant to be seen and discussed. It's just for technical use.

Well, use #111111 then.

 


 

I like the idea, it will bring the old feel back.

Too much effort. I have to type that manually while black can just be chosen from the standard palette. It doesn't matter anyway, since we're gonna replace all current tags with actual forum tags soon.

Hi

 

Really nice idea but i would rather like to see this option for GoldBoxes dropped by players not the actual one dropped in game. Like if i am dropping goldbox i could decide weather i want Gold Drop mark on the battle field or let it drop without mark. This will be perfect to divert players for while.. they will keep searching for drop zone and in the mean time the one who dropped it would go and get enemy flag quickly. And also it will add a bit of challenge and fun during Gold Rains.

I prefer the invisible gold box drop zone markers that only showed when one is near it, it used to require skill to find it, it was even possible to decieve other tankers by moving away from where it is to make them think it's not there

Now it's mostly about who's lucky enough to out last the hail of bullets in a tank pile up

If it is brought back I wouldn't worry about people using small hulls, it was an issue when the garage cool down time was 2 mins, now it's 5, also they are very easy to kill at the gold and end up doing terrible in the battle with low K/Ds
