It's not intentional. These secret rooms are roofs of underground places. Every map with an underground room that has a space between it's ceiling and the ground above it, has a secret room in it.

Tricks for this kind of jumps didn't exist in the game until I started conquering these rooms, so the only thing I could do is come up with new tricks. It may look really hard to do, but after learning enough about how things in parkour work, it's not that complicated after all.
