Developers are well aware of this idea, but there are no plans to expand Tanki to gaming consoles yet and it's really not something that online browser games typically do. It's likely that the game will be available on mobile devices in the future (or at least the Tanki X version), but having Tanki on consoles would mean remaking the whole game and it most likely won't even be possible to use your account there, so everyone would have to start from scratch.

you'd use 1 joystick for moving the tank . Another to move the turret , you'd press the one for moving turret to shoot and pad would be for supplies . Or like most games you'd have custom controls

Pad is only 4 buttons. We need 6. We could have L/R triggers select supplies but that would take too long.

Tanki requires split second timing, theres too many independent controls for it to work for console.

Aren't the people happy being able to play Tanki on your smartphone or tablet?

I don't know if the people know it can be possible. The smartphone needs to be very updated to hold Tanki though.

once swtiched to a HTML5 engine, it could be possible. But it wouldn't be a actual game or anything - it would just be playing through the webbrowser. 

 

Further more I kinda would like to see added xbox controller support... Especially with the client... Sure it could be a little more challenging. but. there are many buttons and combos you can do to get like supplies up

Also don't forget that console games are not compatible with PC games, so a PS or XBox Tanki would have to be a whole new project that's starting from scratch. It's just too big of a task with way too many risks and complications involved.

You should also add TANKI ONLINE to android and ios. That would bring a lot more people into tanki.

No. If it were html5 they could play through the webbrowser on console. PS consoles run on Linux. And Xbox runs on a differently formmatted version of windows. 

 

They are both able to handle HTML5 games and other websites.

TO for mobile devices would end up seperate from regular TO more like TX - Plus they'd have to charge to download it its costly to put it in the Apple App Store. (its 99/a year for a indiviudal and theyd have to pay more like $299 because of a business aspect)

I think, this idea is ok, but I don't really see Tanki Online in "modern-ultra-gaming" area.

More likely like Tanki X to be added, it has good enough graphics, looks veteran (of course when developers are holding tank games for couple of years yet) and could be compared with opponents. But TX would be updated a lot of times, so "it is not time yet" to launch a game that is still being in design.

Maf, look at WoT Console. It was based on the same engine and was a PC game, but simply adapted to console with extra goodies that the PC master race don't get. :3

You cant simply take a flash game and put it on a console. Tanki graphics suck compared to gt5 or no mans sky.

Just listened to the EN livestream with Hazel and these are his exact words: "Tanki on PS and XBox is a project for Tanki X. If we try to do it for Tanki Online we're gonna die! It's just too much work."
